Wanna know my lazy secret? It’s about the Pai Skincare BioRegenerate Rosehip oil

I’ve been promising some of you that I’d talk about this product, for quite a while now. Sorry for my tardiness, but finally, I’ve sorted out what I wanted to say, and more importantly, sorted out the photos! LOL! I swear, the latter takes a lot more time to sort out than my muddle of thoughts!

This product is the Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil, and I don’t know where you can get it in store in Malaysia. I had to get it out there, so if it’s available locally and you know where, please do share. I can tell you however, that you can get it online, and that this is one of my favourite face oils.

But it wasn’t always that way. When I first received it from Pure Tincture about a year ago, I didn’t like it one bit. So what changed?

Well, mindset and technique, for starters.

I first got this when I was still feeling my way around using facial oils. I was starting to get acquainted with them, but I had yet to figure out the proper way to use them. I also knew that my skin had a tendency to reject rosehip oil. I’d sometimes breakout or get clogged pores. This was the case when I first used this oil.

The bright orange oil is a little thick and what happened was that I was overzealous the first few times I used it, so I’d apply a lot on my skin. You only really need about 2 drops if you’re using it under moisturiser or mixed with moisturiser.

When I figured out how best to use face oils, and after a quick chat with Phil (that guy knows his skincare!) who loves this oil, I came back to give this oil a second shot and the next thing you know, I included it as one of the things I enjoyed using 4 months after I got it; and it’s now one of my favourite oils too!

Rosehip oil is known to help lighten scars and fine lines and to generally repair skin. Pai Skincare says that their Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil is rich in Trans-Retinoic Acid which converts into Vitamin A to basically act like a retinol, but without the irritation of a chemical retinol. Plus, the blend of oils is more potent than just mere cold pressed rosehip oil.

But what is it that makes me like this oil? Well, for starters, when I’ve had a rough day or when I want to put on a good face the next morning, I turn to this oil. There are a few ways in which I use it both daily or as a treatment.
