Fruit-Inspired Lips : Getting a Dragon Fruit Pout with Sleek Makeup Pout Paints

September 12, 2011 Paris B 44 Comments

I received a few of the new Sleek Makeup Pout Paints quite recently and I’ve been trying to get a feel of it. Sleek Makeup Pout Paints are little tubes of super intense liquid colour that you can use directly, or mix and match to create a lip colour that is perfect for just you.

It was one evening, while I was cutting up a red dragon fruit (pitaya) for dinner that I got to wondering – “I wonder how this colour would look on my lips?” I mean, look at it.

Its a beautiful shade of cool-warm fuchsia red-pink, a colour that only Mother Nature could create. I wondered if I might be able to create this colour for the lips too, so I donned my Mad Scientist hat (or lab coat) and set to work with the Sleek Makeup Pout Paints.

Big difference right there already! But here are some swatches and photos and a quickie look below.

Sleek Makeup Curacao i-Divine eyeshadow palette – Quick! How would you wear these colours?

I’m the faint hearted sort. So I hmmed and hawed at these for a bit before delving in. Had to, y’know. They are limited edition and all and I wanted to make sure you get your hands on them, if you like bright colours like these 🙂

Now, while you think about how you’re going to wear these, I’m going to show you a couple of swatches and photos below including a few looks I drummed up very quickly using the Curacao palette. Yes, I actually made use of that red shadow! 😯 A picture heavy post so grab a drink, sit back and let’s take a cruise to the Caribbean 🙂
