IT bag. What does that mean anyway? I never quite understood.

But one of the IT bags that is quite the rage is the YSL Muse 2. For an IT bag, I personally think it quite nondescript. There is absolutely nothing on the Muse 2 that says YSL. No logo, no engraving, nothing. The only bit that does say YSL is a stud at the bottom of the bag. So if you know it, you know it. If you don’t, then c’est la vie! 🙂

Naturally, I love it 😀 But I also spotted a similar design in the Oroton Luca Satchel.

I met chat buddy LeGeeque when she was in town last month – finally! After chatting online and offline for … I don’t know… years? We finally met in person and it was fun! She also passed me some stuff I’d asked her to get from Australia, and amongst the items in the bag was a little Oroton bag.

“What’s that?” I asked. “Do I owe you money for something I don’t know about?”

Because when I got home, I saw the Oroton bag contained a pair of pretty pearl earrings!

Problem was, neither of us remembered when it was from, if I’d paid her or why it was purchased. Awful! 😛

So after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, we agreed that it was there, and it was mine and we must have settled the accounts one way or another; and I went “Whee!” because I love pearl earrings 🙂

One for the road : My First (and Second) Oroton items

Just before the year ended I managed to slip in one more bag – just 😉 Courtesy of a bag buddy Down Under, I scored an Oroton Alpine Hobo leather bag at a sale and my personal shopper picked up my first Oroton bag for me. Distance shopping at its best!

Thing is, I ended up with not just 1 but 2 Oroton pieces as I found out when I collected my bag from my “courier”.

Oroton is an Australian brand likened to Coach. Prices are about the same as that of Coach though the designs are a little more sedate. The leather feels buttery soft and supple and it makes a great everyday sort of bag. I can see why Tine and Geek love this brand. Incidentally, Tine, Beetrice and I now have the same bag (except mine’s white/cream and theirs are red)! LOL… talk about sharing great tastes! 😉
