Most of you know by now what a big fan I am of Antipodes skincare. Barring one or two items in the product range, I usually love everything carried by the brand, and I look forward to new releases from them.

When I came across the new Antipodes Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream, I was very intrigued.

Primarily, I was intrigued at the use of probiotics in the formula. I’d been reading about probiotics in skincare for a while, but there aren’t many brands I know, that use it.

Ultimately though, I had my reservations about the Antipodes Culture Probiotic night cream, and it had nothing to do with the probiotics 🙂

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the CeraVe products I’ve been using, but I’ll straight-up tell you that I’m on the fence about the CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

You’d think I’d be falling all over it, seeing as to how I waxed lyrical about the Vitamin C serum, and potentially other products I’ve tried from the brand. Also, it’s a hyaluronic acid serum, which, if you know me, means it’s a staple product in my skincare routine. I’m very big on hydrating serums.

So why am I rather ambivalent about it?

I once declared that Antipodes skincare can do no wrong in my eyes.

I’ve yet to find a product that has proven that statement wrong! OK granted, I wasn’t too big a fan of Halo mud mask, but it still was a decent product.

I’m currently the most out-of-touch beauty blogger in the entire universe of beauty blogging. I’m still only starting to use products that were ‘newly launched’ a year ago, and I’m not even doing full-on routines for a while now. I think the whole pandemic has gotten to most of us in one way or another, hasn’t it? At least, that’s my excuse.

But recently, I was gifted with a new product, the L’Occitane Immortelle Reset Triphase Essence, and I was intrigued enough to slot it straight into my routine.

Incidentally, there was a lot of interest in this, when I shared about it on Instagram, so here it is 🙂 Incidentally, it’s one I suggest that you use as suggested, instead of being too clever about it and using it in a different manner, as I usually do 😛
