I received a bunch of sheet masks a while ago. It was the Leaders Clinic Clinie masks… and even before I managed to use them all and form a view, the name is now changed to Beauty Clinic Mediheal. I’m not sure what to make of that but I thought it should be mentioned, in case you were looking for the former and only found the latter.

To be honest, I have no idea how one reviews a sheet mask. I have just one of each and I just won’t be able to tell what the effects really are with prolonged use. So what I will do is just give you my initial impressions after using each one. I actually do enjoy using sheet masks. They are a quick and easy pick me up for your skin and are minimum fuss. I like carrying one or two with me when I travel – useful on the plane and/or in the hotel at the end of a long day.

I was given the opportunity to try 7 “flavours” of the Leaders Clinic Clinie (Beauty Clinic Mediheal) sheet masks from Korea, so here are my quick thoughts on each. If you have tried any, please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments too!

Wear flowers in your hair and spritz Melvita Floral Water on your skin for a refreshing soothing treat

I used to read a lot about floral waters in cosmetics, in particular rosewater and lavender water. It has been used in cosmetics for a very long time to freshen and soothe the skin and is quite possibly the origins of what we now know as toner 🙂 I’d never really tried them until I came across the ones from the French organic brand Melvita.

Can I just say up front that I absolutely love the impractical heavy deep blue glass bottle packaging? I love it! Its heavy and if you are the klutzy sort, you could quite easily let it slip through your fingers and have it smash on the floor. But I love it nonetheless because it lends an old world charm to my skincare routine.

Plus, the waters are a really very nice treat for the skin 🙂

Pretty Pop Art Vichy Laboratoires Limited Edition Eau Thermale Spray cans

This one has been sitting in my Drafts for so long that if I don’t post it now, the Limited Edition cans will be gone before you can say “Vichy”! 😛

One of my first introductions to Vichy Laboratoires is through their thermal spa water. It is thermal spa water in an aerosol can and it is wonderful for cooling yourself down in this infernal Malaysian heat and humidity. I used to use the big 150ml bottle in place of toner at home. Finished up 2 bottles quite quickly, because I couldn’t stop at one spritz 😛

So it interested me mightily to learn that Vichy Laboratoires turns 80 in 2011. 80 years! That’s a heck of a long time to be around! And to celebrate their iconic product – the Eau Thermale Thermal Spa Water they have released a limited edition aerosol can.

Pick up the Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack and your wallet will not feel the pinch

I got a little confused when doing my research on this product. The one I have is called Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack. Online, and in my press kit, a similar product appears to be known as Lioele V-Line Waterdrop Sleeping Pack. I’m going to assume they are the same thing unless shown otherwise, because pictures don’t lie! 😛

Lioele is a brand from Korea. I’m not too familiar with Korean brands so for me, I find it slightly lesser known, but no less affordable. I think its great how skincare and cosmetics coming out of Korea area pretty decent to use and affordable for the most part 🙂

The Waterdrop Sleeping Pack or V-Line Waterdrop Sleeping Pack is as the name implies, a sleeping mask – a product popular in Korean skincare. Its a thick gel that you apply on your skin but do not wash off and usually has hydrating properties to hydrate skin while you sleep. There is a slight difference to this one though that bears paying attention to.
