Loving the quirky name of the Mad Hippie Triple C Night Cream but loving the texture even more!

When I ran out of the last cream I enjoyed using, that I felt made a difference to my skin, I felt a little morose. I always get a little sad when I finish a product that I enjoy, yet I enjoy trying new things. So, it’s a little debate I have with myself each time – do I repurchase, or do I try something new.

Often, I opt to try something new 😛 Why mess with a winning formula, you may ask? Because I’m a glutton for punishment, I guess 😛

But it’s always nice when you do try something new, and it works out well, which is the case with the Mad Hippie Triple C Night Cream.

Hold up! This Medik8 C-Tetra Serum might be the only Vitamin C serum you need!

I came across many raves for the Medik8 C-Tetra serum, where people who had tried it swore up and down that this was THE Vitamin C serum they’d be using from now on.

I got curious, because I love me a good Vitamin C serum, but I always had one in rotation, so it took me quite a while before I got around to picking up a bottle and trying it.

I have to say though, that it has been impressive! 🙂

If there’s one thing that every skincare brand can agree on, is that aging is synonymous with loss of moisture in the skin. As we age, our skin barrier weakens, and allows moisture to escape more quickly, which then leads to dry, dehydrated skin, and the resulting fine lines and wrinkles.

Japanese brand Decorte has something to address this.

Decorte uses a new Multilamellar Bio-liposome, which is an ultra-fine 0.1-micron microcapsule that encapsulates moisturizing ingredients. These microcapsules (1 Trillion microcapsules in a single drop, apparently) penetrate easily and deeply into the skin to boost moisture from within.

The Liposome technology isn’t new, and Decorte has been using it since 1992 in their serum. This year, it’s a new formula.

I must confess that I caved in to try the Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum due to social media hype. Oh yes, it happens to the best of us! 😛

I often see some big influencers waxing lyrical about this serum, and when I found out that it was very affordable, and so effective (as they claimed), I decided to try it. How bad could it be?!

When I read up some reviews, I saw people who actually used the product proclaiming that it was one of the best dark spot correcting serums they’d ever used, and that they saw results in just 2 weeks. It sounded nothing short of a miracle, and with that budget price tag? I had to try it!
