Be kind to your wallet and to your skin when you indulge in the Sukin Rosehip Nourishing Cream Cleanser

March 16, 2021 Paris B Leave a Comment

Ever since I discovered how much better a cream cleanser was for my skin, as opposed to a gel or foaming type cleanser, I’ve always been on the lookout for new (and affordable!) cream cleanser options.

I’d tried the normal Sukin Cream Cleanser in the past, and throughly enjoyed using it. However, when I saw that there was a version with a pink label, I was curious.

I picked up the Sukin Rosehip Nourishing Cream Cleanser a little while ago, finished it recently, then remembered I had to share how much I enjoyed using it! 😀

Do you need a gadget to clean your face? I review the Foreo Luna 3 to find out

September 7, 2020 Paris B 6 Comments

Do you need a gadget to help clean your face?

That’s a question I ask myself everytime a new face-cleaning gadget hits the stands. In recent years, Swedish brand Foreo has carved its niche and entrenched itself firmly in the beauty world as the go-to face-cleaning gadget.

But I stayed clear, because I’m notoriously lax at using beauty gadgets. Very lax.

I was however, recently offered a chance to try the Foreo Luna 3, and after a little humming and hawing, I decided to say yes. What is the point of being a beauty blogger if I wasn’t a little adventurous? In fact, what’s the point of being a beauty blogger anymore, when people prefer other mediums LOL! 😛

But I digress.

So, after a little while using the Foreo Luna 3, I think I have an opinion on it – and I have been encouraged to be honest, so I will be! (I wonder if they’ll regret that) 😉

Thoroughly enjoying the lush texture of the Chanel Sublimage L’Huile en Gel de Demaquillage for a luxurious first cleanse

The Chanel Sublimage L’Huile en Gel de Demaquillage or Gel to Oil Cleanser is one of the more interesting things I’ve tried coming out of the brand.

While I’m usually leery of an oil cleanser and gel cleanser, this one appealed to me for some reason. It might be because it felt and looked rather unique.

It might be that you often get an oil to gel formula, but rarely, one the other way around.

It might also be because I’m a sucker for interesting things 😛

The Hada Labo+ Sensitive Skin Creamy Wash lets you go easy on your wallet and your skin

June 16, 2020 Paris B 3 Comments

I’m a little confused by the Hada Labo+ Sensitive Skin range. I cannot seem to find much, if any, information online about it. Yet, it became available only just slightly over 6 months ago.

Having been previously burnt by the launch of a new product that I found impressive enough to share my thoughts about, only to find that it was quietly discontinued just less than 6 months later, it’s natural that I’m a little wary about new products.

My principle since, is to only talk about new products at least 3-4 months after they’re launched, both to allow me to gauge availability of the product and to allow me a decent period of product testing. I think it’s only fair to you!

Long story short, I am quite impressed by the Hada Labo+ Sensitive Skin Creamy Wash, and I hope that it’s not a product nor a range that’s going anywhere any time soon.

Best of all, it’s so affordable! That’s a good thing to hear right? 😀
