I had so much fun doing empties posts but realised I mostly only managed to finish anything after about 2 months. However, July was an exception!
I’m on a roll! 😀 Here’s what they are, with quick recaps of what I thought of them.

Ah I haven’t done a walkaround the beauty halls for a long long time. I’ve been so busy that the malls and beauty counters are starting to look quite alien to me. I initially was planning to pick up the Rose Initiale blush from Chanel’s Fall collection but some circumstances have resulted in me forbidding myself from buying it. I know. Its a silly thing to do but there you go! I will not be owning Rose Initiale in the interim.
However, thanks to friends, I did visit the Chanel counter anyway to help a friend pick up a couple of items from the Fall 2012 collection including Rose Initiale! So I get to buy it after all 😀 I just don’t get to keep it LOL! Here’s what it looks like at the counter. Its just out and there are lip glosses, lipsticks, eyeshadows, a blush and oh so many things! 😛
I’ll just share some quick thoughts I had on the collection (plus a picture of the star product face powder), and also share some pictures of a couple of new items I spotted while at Sephora KL. Its a free and easy sort of day today and you can just tell me what you think or what you’ve been up to 🙂

When I do my weekly mask routine on a Sunday evening while vegeing out in front of the TV, I usually go for a sheet mask. Its quick and hydrating and cools down my skin. On days when I have more time, I go for a hydrating face mask to plump up the ol’ saggy skin. But once or twice a month, I start with a clay mask first.
A few months ago, I was sent a tub of Magnetic Clay Mask by Miracle Clay (Zionhealth), together with some samples of Adama body lotion and shampoo and conditioner. It would appear that Miracle Clay is actually the name of the online store, which sells various products for face, hair and body made from clay. I was quite intrigued by the Magnetic Clay mask, because my experience with clay masks is always hit or miss. I know they are usually targeted at those with oily skin or skin with blemishes and I have skin tending to the dry (thanks for catching up, age!) but this one promised to not dry out skin. That was interesting.

I started doing this in April so I figured, why not continue a good thing. Finishing up anything is always a milestone in my book, and its also a good way to slip in a quickie review in case I’ve missed out on something along the way 🙂
I realised it takes me about 2 months to be able to document anything so I’ll keep this up bi-monthly as long as I can (or as long as I’m interested LOL!) Hopalong for the breakdown for May and June empties
