Ok, I have been teasing you with the Save the Date mentions on Facebook and Twitter for a while but today, you get to know what is happening on 8 March 2014!

MWS turns 7 this year in March and I wanted to do something different. I wanted to give the chance to some of you to experience some of the fun I experience as a blogger, and one of the fun things is a makeup workshop to learn about makeup!

Just for MWS readers, Bobbi Brown Malaysia will be running a Masterclass for Back to Basics makeup lessons where 8 very lucky readers will be able to attend the event, and learn some basics of skincare, makeup and foundation. I sat down with the people from BB and told them that a short course on the basics would be very helpful because learning about skin and foundation is of course the foundation of good makeup right? 🙂

It’s almost Christmas and I thought it’s a nice time to resurrect my favourite blog tradition – giving the gift of Christmas. This is where I give the gifts but you don’t get to want them for yourself. Oh no, you have to pick someone you want me to send the gift to!

Win! Celebrate October Giveaway No. 6: A Brush with a Blush

Hullo hullo! More celebratory fun ensues! This time, I wanted to share with one lucky winner 2 makeup items which are things I particularly love – blush and brushes. The blush is a Chanel Joues Contraste in Rose Temptation which is a rather deep rose that I picked for being flattering on most skintones, although light skintones may find it a challenge. The brush kit was a gift from Shiseido and isn’t branded, but the brushes are lovely items that I know you’ll enjoy using.
