Sunglasses are not just a fashion accessory. They are in fact, recommended by ophtalmologists (eye doctors) to protect your eyes from the sun and UV rays. If you have had Lasik done to your eyes, you would understand how essential a good pair of sunglasses is.
To protect your eyes, make sure that the sunglasses you get are dark enough. If you live in a tropical country as I do, the sun can be very strong so a dark pair of glasses is essential. If you can, try to get a pair with polarized lenses. These type of lenses help cut glare as well as light. Some of their lenses may not look so dark but when you put them on, you’ll notice immediately how much more comfortable your vision is. Once you use polarised lenses you won’t want to go back to normal lenses again.
Life & Style has a selection of sunglasses presently endorsed by the stars. From appearances, it would look as if oversized sunnies are still here to stay. I’m still looking for a pair myself. In the meantime, I’m using a pair of polarised sun glasses given to me by my sister.
According to the Style Tip by Life & Style:
To prevent the frames from stretching and bending, avoid wearing sunglasses on top of the head and remove them gently using both hands.
Oops! Guilty! But they look so fashionable!
