I teased you with Parts 1 and 2 of the new J’adore Dior commercial and here it is in its full entirety. It was launched to the world in Paris just yesterday but due to some technical glitches, I’m only getting it today. Still, do watch it and keep an eye on the backstage scenes.

I don’t know about you but I feel terribly sad when I see the elegant Nicole Kidman walking around like a train wreck. I don’t know if she does it to herself or if her makeup artists have something against her (in which case she should fire them) or if she should just look in the mirror before going out on the red carpet.
In December, Nicole Kidman stunned the world when she walked out onto the red carpet for the “Nine” Premiere looking like she fell face first in a bowl of flour. The makeup malfunction was eventually traced by intrepid makeup artists to possibly silica powder for which I tried to dupe 😛
This year, Nicole Kidman sure opened up 2010 with a bang by sporting a smudged orange oompa loompa look on the red carpet of the Golden Globe awards 2010 🙁
I don’t usually follow fashion news but when this news article popped up on WWD, I had to take a look. For the uninitiated, Lindsay Lohan has a clothing/fashion line and for her new 6126 Collection, 2 designs had been pointed out to be remarkably similar to existing designs by other designers.
The 2 pictures above were taken from the 2 blogs that did side by side comparisons. Toomanytights.typepad.com shows 2 pairs of tights side by side and you must admit that the sketches do look remarkably similar to the existing item known as Sheer Spartans. See for yourself here.
The other item compared is a sketch from the new 6126 collection which bears resemblance to a Fall 2009 dress by Jen Kao. Comparison on fashionista.com here.
I wonder how far this will go. You gotta admit that without looking at material, texture or fit, but just by going with the designs, there are remarkable similarities between the sketches and the existing designs.
Thoughts? 🙂 Oh and one more question : I forget – is Lindsay Lohan a mouseketeer / actress/ singer or none of the above? 😛
