I’m not the best at remembering to use eye cream, but I’ve been enjoying the Chanel Sublimage La Creme Yeux Eye Cream in recent times.
Sure, it’s a bit of a splurge, as most items under this line are. It is after all their most luxurious range, and targeted at those who need a little something more for the skin.
Is it earth-shattering in its efficacy?
Continue ReadingI think the beauty market is ripe for something new and exciting, and Chanel’s No. 1 range hopes to be that ‘something’. It’s a little capsule collection sitting within the greater Chanel beauty collection, and I’d shared a little overview earlier.
One of the items that caught my eye was the No. 1 de Chanel L’Eau Rouge fragrance mist. It’s been a while since I’ve come across a new scent from Chanel, so it was interesting to see what they would come up with.
As it turns out, the L’Eau Rouge is quite easily, one of my favourite items from the No. 1 de Chanel collection! 😀

It’s a brand of skincare that I particularly enjoy using, and one of very few organic and natural skincare brands that I have no hesitation telling people about, simply because it does the job, and then some!
They’ve introduced quite a few new products in recent times, and one that piqued by interest was the Antipodes Glow Ritual Vitamin C Serum. We all know how I am about a Vitamin C serum! I’m mad for them!
What interested me more than another new Vitamin C serum, was that the Antipodes Glow Ritual Vitamin C Serum is made from a natural source of Vitamin C – kakadu plum.
I was a little sceptical if it’s better than chemically derived Vitamin C, I must admit, but in my books, anything from one of my favourite brands is worth a try! 🙂
Continue ReadingOne of the first things I was told about Brazilian brand Natura, when I was first introduced to it, was that they are proud of their fragrance range. Apparently, Brazilians love fragrance! And being a Brazilian brand, Natura embraced that love, and developed a range of affordable fragrances that you can purchase at their store and online.
A recent addition to this extensive fragrance range is the Natura Kaiak Oceano fragrance. I broke my self-imposed isolation to go to the store to have a look, because despite advances in technology, we still can’t smell through our computer or mobile screens.
I used to be quite partial towards oceanic scents when younger. There was something about the clean, slightly salty tang of oceanic fragrances that attracted me. I was curious to see if the Natura Kaiak Oceano fragrance might remind me of that 😀
