Affordable hydration is possible with the L’Oreal Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid 1.5% serum

I haven’t been as familiar with many new beauty releases as I haven’t been out and about very much. So what I’ve been doing is shopping my stash and finding new things in there that I might not otherwise have tried!

The L’Oreal Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid 1.5% Serum is one such product. I received it during an event many months ago, and dug it back up when I was looking for a new serum to use in the day. I tend to use hydrating/hydration serums in the day as I’ve found that that’s when I lose the most moisture from my skin. I attribute this to the weather – just because the weather is hot and humid doesn’t mean we don’t lose water from our skin. Using a hydration serum in the day helps my skin retain moisture and water better.

Suffice to say that the Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid serum was surprisingly a good find!

I’ve been having a very busy few weeks, as I’m in the midst of moving and setting up a small production facility for my little business, and I’d be lying if my skin care routine is not suffering from neglect.

But realising this, I had planned ahead – us skincare enthusiasts never give up on our skin care, we just modify our routines to suit our lifestyle! 😀

Realising that I’d be under stress, have less time to myself, and be exposed to the environment more than before, I upped my hydration for the day and for the night. When my body undergoes stress, my skin tends to dry out so I knew I had to maintain my hydration and moisture so it remains balanced. I’d treat any other concerns later!

What I’ve been doing more of is masking and that’s where the Antipodes Flora Probiotic Skin-Rescue Hyaluronic Mask comes in handy. What a mouthful it is! So I’ll call it the Antipodes Flora Probiotic mask.

I attended an event recently for an eye product. Regular readers will know that I don’t use any (I know it flies in the face of all beauty blogging logic, but I don’t!) but I always receive questions about eye products. So really, this one was for all of you! 😀

I also picked this as it was for the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid Eye Serum, and this is a brand that is easily available and relatively affordable. We all want and need affordable products these days, I know.

While I take it for a little whirl, here’s a little more info on it, if you’re thinking about getting an eye product this weekend.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the CeraVe products I’ve been using, but I’ll straight-up tell you that I’m on the fence about the CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

You’d think I’d be falling all over it, seeing as to how I waxed lyrical about the Vitamin C serum, and potentially other products I’ve tried from the brand. Also, it’s a hyaluronic acid serum, which, if you know me, means it’s a staple product in my skincare routine. I’m very big on hydrating serums.

So why am I rather ambivalent about it?
