Looking back to see if there was more laughter than tears this past year

Hello friends!

That’s another year almost done and dusted for us all. Some highs, some lows, as is wont to happen each year.

If you look back on your year and find more highs than lows, more laughter than tears, then you’ve had a good year 🙂

For the most part, life has been good to me. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing (whose is?), and there are times and occasions that make me question my decisions and judgment. But if at all there’s anything I’ve learnt from my journey through 2022, is that sometimes, your prayers aren’t answered in the straightforward manner you think they would be.

I’ve been sticking to my resolve to use up products as much as I can, without leaving too many half-opened jars and bottles lying around. The only way I know if a product works for my skin, or if I love it, is if I’m able to finish it.

Better yet, I finish it, and yearn for a new bottle or jar! 😀

As much as I love beauty gadgets, I’m terrible at using them regularly. But there’s one personal care I got a few months ago, that I am sold on, and will use daily.

In fact, if I don’t use it daily, it feels like something’s missing from my routine.

This gadget is my water flosser, and if you know what’s good for you, you’d have it on your Christmas gift list 😀

I started using the Filorga Time-Filler Absolute Wrinkle Correction Cream a couple of months ago, when I ran out of a day cream. It does not say if it’s a day or night cream, and to be honest, I don’t usually pay attention to labels like that, if it does not contain ingredients that should only be used in the evening e.g. retinol.

I’m almost through with my tub of Time-Filler, and only just remembered that I have not shared some thoughts about it. The reason it struck me that I should, is because I really enjoyed using the Filorga Time-Filler cream, and I do think that it is a good product, even if you don’t have wrinkles to correct 🙂
