I love the Filorga Meso Mask!
I think thatโs all I want to say haha!
I was gifted a few sample sachets of the Filorga Meso Mask quite a few years ago from a Belgian blogger who no longer blogs (Phil, I hope youโre still reading!) He sent me a lovely, giant skincare package of his favourite products from french pharmacy brands, and I loved them all!
I especially loved the sachets of the Filorga Meso Mask, and the next time I had an opportunity, I picked up a tub in Paris. We didnโt have it available here in Malaysia at the time, and it was hard to find it online. But we do now! ๐
Filorga Meso Mask โ Soothing Radiance Mask for lovely soft skin
Filorga is a brand from France, established by an aesthetic doctor, Dr. Michel Tordjman, back in 1978. He invented a unique polyrevitalising injectable solution capable of acting on the key parameters of skin health which led to the development of Laboratoires Filorga.
Laboratoires Filorga then created MEDI-COSMETIQUE, with the goal to develop a range of cosmetic products formulated with hyaluronic acid and extending the active ingredients used in injections to new topical applications in the formulation of revolutionary and cutting-edge cosmetics. This made their products more accessible to consumers.
Theyโre now available in Malaysia, via their online store on Lazada. I remember seeing some items in M+ Pharmacy a while ago, but Iโm not sure if itโs there anymore.
The Filorga Meso Mask is a thing of wonder. It is a cream mask, rich in collagen and elastin to soothe and moisturise skin, enriched with rhamnose polysaccharide to soothe redness, brighten the complexion and reveal radiance, and includes hydrating urea to restore suppleness and softness to the skin.
It promises to smoothe, soothe, moisturise and brighten your complexion, all of which it does very effectively.
Seriously, I kid you not about the softness!
Creamy delight on skin
The texture of the Filorga Meso-Mask is that of a thick white cream. It comes in a lovely hefty jar that feels luxurious in your hand. The product comes sealed with a foil cover, that you need to peel off before enjoying.
The cream looks thick and white, almost like whipped cream. Yet, it is very soft, and once you apply it to your skin, it doesnโt show up as having any colour at all. I like putting a generous layer on my skin, and massaging it in a little, as it just feels so lovely on.
Then, leave it on for up to 40 minutes. Watch some TV if you like, browse Instagram or read a book.
Then, rinse it off. The masks rinses off cleanly and easily.
Skin is so soft and smooth after use!
The most obvious result once youโve rinsed it off, is how soft and smooth your skin feels. The first time I used it, I could not stop touching my face! It was that impressive!
After regular use over the years, and having reacquainted myself with the Filorga Meso-Mask recently, I can safely vouch that it will keep your skin soft and moisturised better. This especially if you have drier skin as I do, and if you spend a lot of time or sleep in an air-conditioned room.
I just like touching my face after using this, even if Iโm aware we arenโt supposed to ๐
I do not personally notice a marked luminosity or radiance, so Iโm unable to comment on this. I do use serums that address these issues daily, so I cannot say that this is the only product thatโs delivered results. What it has done is to probably work alongside my usual serums to prolong the result so skin looks luminous and radiant for longer.
I do not notice any marked results on wrinkles, which is again something hard to judge for me, as I am not particularly lined, despite my advanced age ๐ Credit to good genes and copious amounts of sunscreen use ๐
But if what youโre looking for is a mask treatment that gives you soft and smooth skin like you wonโt believe, the Filorga Meso-Mask is the one for you! ๐
A little too fragranced
One thing that could be improved on in my view, is the omission or perhaps, reducing the intensity of the fragrance in the product. However, my dealings with French beauty brands have assured me that this wonโt happen, as the French people enjoy having an olfactory sensorial experience alongside their tactile experience. So, fragrance is common in French skincare.
It isnโt unpleasant, but I do find it a little strong for my tastes.
In the big scheme of things, I do not find the price particularly painful on the wallet. It is a generous sized jar that you only use 1-2 times a week. The results are impressive, and absolutely worth investing in. Filorga is a French pharmacy product, and like most French pharmacy products, deliver so much for a wallet-friendly price โ as how all skincare products should be ๐
IN A NUTSHELL
The Filorga Meso-Mask is a cream mask that sooths, softens, moisturises skin and boosts luminosity and radiance. It is rather fragranced but not unpleasant. The product applies clear, and sinks into the skin after leaving it on for anything up to 40 minutes. After rinsing off, the skin is incredibly smooth and soft to the touch. It amazes me every single time! A lovely product that is absolutely worth trying.

Have you tried the Filorga Meso Mask or any Filorga products?
I was so blown away by the sachet samples I was gifted with, I just knew Iโd have to buy the full sized version one day. Happy to see the brand with an official presence here now. Iโd probably try some other products too! ๐

I was very keen to try this! Heard this is one of those stock-up-in-paris things. but, saw that mineral oil was very high up the list and that put me off. do you think mineral oil was what softened the skin?

I am not sure if I hv bought a genuine one, though it’s from a reputable cosmetic retailer on Amazon. This is because I experience none of the moisturising effect nor soft smooth skin after rinsing off the mask. ? In fact it feels kinda dry after rinsing. The creamy texture of the cream is wondrous to apply on complexion though. Zero effects for me. Wonder if I should go get 1 more bottle from another source.
