The day I laid eyes on the L’Occitane x Rifle Paper Co. collection, I felt my stoic bones turn to mush as my stiff upper lip quivered to let out an appreciative “Awww….” I had no idea what Rifle Paper Co. was, but I challenge you to not have the same reaction I did!
I’m rarely one to fall for pretty packaging, but this one tugged at the ol’ whimsical heart-strings. There was just something about the flowers and illustrations that appeals, and will appeal to the majority.
Rifle Paper Co. I later learnt, is a stationery company that specialises in whimsical illustrations and designs. There is a lot about their aesthetic that I could see stationery lovers enjoying, and if you’re a stationery lover, I’d love to know if they are a brand that you have kept on your radar 🙂
By way of a limited edition collection, L’Occitane has partnered with Rifle Paper Co. to illustrate some of their most iconic bestsellers incorporating Shea Butter, just as you see here.
On a personal note, I will have to say that the L’Occitane shea butter ranges are the ones I really enjoy using the most for the body. I swear by the Ultra Rich Body Cream, which I use nightly, and if I were to pick a hand cream, I’d always go for the shea butter one. The scented ones to me, are a little more mediocre.
The Rifle Paper Co. designs will adorn the packaging of the Shea Hand Cream in both Classic Shea in all sizes (RM128/150ml, RM92/75ml and RM45/30ml) and Classic Rose in the 30ml tube (RM45). It will also adorn their Shea Extra Gentle Soaps (RM29/100g).
But the most eye-catching of them all is this Shea Butter Amour set (RM185) featured here, with a Shea Hand Cream, Shea Ultra Rich Body Cream and Shea Rich Body Scrub in deluxe travel sizes. I hesitate to use the words, but this will be quite a collector’s piece, so catch it before it sells out!

I saw this in a magazine. I would probably buy it just for the box since I don’t use anything of theirs. Lol.

Oh I love Rifle Paper Co! They have such pretty stationery. Their collaboration with Garance Dore was one of my favourites. Very clever of them to collaborate with L’Occitane this time. I’ll be sure to keep a lookout for these! 😀

The packaging is so cheerful, and so unlike the normally almost industrial appearance of their shea butter range! I’d never heard of Rifle Paper Co until this, but I can absolutely understand their appeal 😀
