Hi everyone
My apologies for falling off the grid the past few days. I don’t usually feel the need to apologise for not updating the blog, but my disappearance was was a little more sudden, and a little more prolonged than I had earlier expected, so I felt a short explanation was necessary.
For most of last week, I had been tucked away in the hospital, due to an unexplained viral attack, that left me with a low white blood cell and platelet count and rashes all over my body, even on my face. This is one incidence when I have no tips for you except to get to a hospital, stat! 😛 I suppose this must be what a computer programme feels like, when they get a virus – weak and disoriented LOL! 😀 I’m discharged now, and am, for the most part, feeling fine, albeit a little tired still.
The main reason I decided to pen a short note is because my unexpected break was coincidentally seguing into a scheduled break, that would really mean my October blogging schedule is pretty much out of whack 😛
I won’t be blogging in the coming week, which is a scheduled break that I take every year on occasion of my birthday next week. No one should ever have to work on their birthday, so if there’s one thing you do for yourself on that one special day, take the day off! 🙂 Or like me, take the week off haha! 😀
While this wasn’t quite how I expected it to be (I usually write a personal little note on that occasion), it’s just a quick update to let you know what’s happening so it doesn’t seem like I’ve just fallen off the face of the earth. This year’s birthday has been a little eclipsed by my hospital stint, but I’m glad I won’t have to spend my day in there, even if it was quite a pleasant stay at the end of it all – barring the pricking of my arms for blood tests, that is 🙂
If you’ve sent an email or a Tweet, or a message on Instagram, I’m sorry for not getting back to you. I may eventually do, or I may not. But thank you anyway, and I’ll hopefully be back to normal after next week.
xoxo

Lebih berat bahu memikul ok! LOL! When the nurse came with the IV needle I totally freaked out. It’s the one thing that I was most afraid of, because I couldn’t imagine having that thing in my hand all the time! But as it turned out, the pain wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be and it didn’t last. Also, it saved me from getting jabbed coz they could just insert the medicine straight into the IV line! But I won’t want to go through it again *shudder* Thank you so much for the well wishes and I had a quiet little birthday this year. It was just as well. Turning a year older isn’t really cause for celebration eh? HAHA! 😉

I hope that you are back in the fullest of health – and all in time for your birthday.
(If) Birthday + feeling unwell = sucks.
Happy birthday.

Thank you so much JK. Getting there – appetite is coming back with a vengeance, which doesn’t bode well for my post-illness weight loss! I was hoping to keep it off haha! 😉 I was glad I got out of the hospital before my birthday. It would have really sucked to be in there on the day!
