Whipped cream makes me think of a few things – strawberries (and cream), cakes, pies… hardly foundation. Does the idea of light fluffy white moist cream bring to mind a beige coloured product you’d apply to your face as opposed to shovelling it into your tummy? I thought not!
But this is precisely what Revlon called their Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup foundation.
Like a cream, it comes in a heavy glass jar which is really unique I thought. It might be why I picked up a tub the first time I saw it at the display shelves all those months ago. It was just too different to pass up! Wait, was this launched last year? Or perhaps early in 2013? I can’t remember anymore, but I can tell you that I’ve owned this one for a while and that I surprisingly like it!
If you’re a fan of full coverage foundation then I do believe this is one to check out. Whilst it gives full coverage, I wear it as a light-medium coverage foundation and it performs very well for me. Truly when it comes to pharmacy brand foundation, barring that error in judgement that was the Revlon Mousse foundation, I’ve thus far had nothing but success with Revlon.
