Hullo hullo! More celebratory fun ensues! This time, I wanted to share with one lucky winner 2 makeup items which are things I particularly love – blush and brushes. The blush is a Chanel Joues Contraste in Rose Temptation which is a rather deep rose that I picked for being flattering on most skintones, although light skintones may find it a challenge. The brush kit was a gift from Shiseido and isn’t branded, but the brushes are lovely items that I know you’ll enjoy using.
What is this giveaway for? The most recent item I bought was a bunch of nail polish from Beauty Expo. XD Some of them I did like, but some were just okay in terms of colour (sheerer than expected).
I was really tempted by one of the Estee Lauder products after reading a review on it on MWS, but it was pretty much outta my budget at that time. Since it was limited edition, I can’t even get it now. T_T

I have been holding back from participating in your giveaways because I am downsizing my skincare and beauty items but this, I cannot resist. Chanel blushers are my weakness, and even more so a colour I do not have!!!
My last beauty purchase was a few REN skincare items; the F10 Smooth & Renew Mask, ClearCalm 3 Clay Cleanser, Serum and Invisible Pores Mask. I LOVE them all, especially the Invisible Pores Mask; they have helped calm my congested skin so much.
The question is, what HAVENT I been tempted to buy! 😀 I’ve picked up the Shiseido brush, Daiso cleansing detergent, and soon the NARS concealer once their store opens!! The brush is truly one of a kind, I thought the MAC stippling brush was good but this trumps it, and the Daiso detergent has been repurchased a few times. For products which arent of my skin/beauty concerns, I may or may not have been telling friends things like “I heard XXX is really good, you should get it for.. (insert specific concern)..” haha
Thank you for hosting the October giveaway series!

1. The last makeup item that I bought was a Clinique Airbrush Concealer in Neutral Fair. I love this item as it conceals my under eye circle very well.
2. Absolutely. I bought the Lunasol Cheek Brush N, Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush, Caudalie cleansing water after reading your review, to name a few.
Thanks and keep up the good work.

1. I bought First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Cream. I love it! It is very light but protective and most importantly, doesn’t irritate my fragrance-sensitive skin.
2. I purchased the RMK eyelash curler after reading your review! I wanted an eyelash curler that would last but not as expensive as the Shu Uemura’s. I found that the RMK eyelash curler works good enough for me.

1. The last skincare I bought was the Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid Lotion. It was good when I first tried it, and then I got greedy and used it twice a day, which gave me a minor breakout. So I now use it only once, and not too much, and it’s been fine ever since 🙂
2. I was considering whether to get the Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunblock, and I came here to see your review, which is kinda the determining factor on whether to get it. It doesn’t leave a white cast so I am happy, but the citrusy smell, which I’m not sure how to describe, bothers me a little. And every time when I stop using it after a few days, I get some minor breakouts. But I don’t get any sunburns or any noticeable tanning when I use it on my face, so it works.

1. My last makeup purchase was Shu Uemura Light Bulb foundation (Shade 564) and am loving it so far! This foundation provides natural glow (even without using a primer) with decent coverage, but yet feeling lightweight- it’s perfect for day to day usage. Definitely one of the items in my current HG list now 🙂
2. Yes, the Lunasol Skin Modeling Liquid Foundation! Base makeup is my obsession and am always looking for a better liquid foundation. I really like Lunasol liquid foundation for its lightweight texture and the buildable coverage it gives. I’ve never regretted to try out this foundation and I have used up 3 bottles so far (before Shu Uemura Light Bulb foundation) 🙂

1. Clinique foaming cleanser- I use this for removing makeup
2. Kiehl midnight recovery- it softens and hydrates but I did not see any improvement to my skin. Will have to persevere and see.
Ting says
1. I bought kiehl’s super multi corrective cream. It made my skin baby bottom smooth. Love it. It smells a bit of sour plum (I mix the mrc as you did) but I don’t mind a bit. It also passed my husband’s nose so yay! 🙂
2. Yes, many times. #1 is a good example… Hahahahaha

Yay, another giveaway! 🙂
The last skincare item I bought was an eye cream from L’oreal, the one with the vibrating pen thingy…It feels “meh” so far..rather use back the cooling illuminator from Estee Lauder.
Oh yes, you do influence me a lot and it’s hurting my wallet. Lol..I tried out quite some since I’ve been reading your blog. The most significant was Yves Rocher’s 24H range. I have now tried their toner, serum & moisturiser! I like the serum & moisturiser but not so much on the toner.
Isabel says
Ooooh! This makes the blush fiend heart in me skip a beat.
1. The Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution. I bought it partly due to your review of it and am loving it. I’m getting someone to buy more for me from France and my instructions were “get the pink, not the green one!” 😀
2. Yes, your review of the Hada Labo UV Whitening Emulsion is the sole and direct reason I bought it. And yes, it works perfectly for me. Thanks!

Wow, I was just researching about Chanel blushes this week and here it is on the giveaway. A good coincidence I would think 😉
The last products that I purchased were REN items from the workshop-Cleanser & Toner for combination skin and the Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask. Have not used the cleanser yet but I do love the toner and although I do not mean to complain, I find that RM123 for 150 ml is kind of pricy. I have just started using the mask last weekend and I love the smell although I cannot see the effect yet.
You are my biggest enabler! Hahaha. I have bought numerous items based on your reviews and if there is such a term called ‘HG Blogger’ you are definitely mine 🙂 Some of my best purchases based on your reviews are the Lunasol Cheek Brush (applying ANY type of blushes is now such a breeze and I cannot thank you enough), Shiseido sunscreen (love everything about it) and Dior Addict lipstick (the most moisturising lipstick in the market). I am currently saving money to buy ANR II after using samples of it over the last 2 weeks because it really makes my skin look well-rested and hydrated.
The great thing about your blog is that I have discovered this wonderful community of beauty bloggers through the links to their blogs from their comments (I read all of them and come back to them to read your replies!). My life is so much richer from the amount of information that I have learned and picked up from your blog and these other bloggers as well.

1. The last make up product I brought was the Maybelline Cheeky Glow blush in Fresh Coral. Its very cute and the color is lovely, but sadly the staying power is really poor. So I don’t like it much.
2. Most of the stuff you show on MWS is too expensive for me, Paris. But I’ve decided to purchase the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey after seeing your review on it. So thanks!
***Wow, 6 giveaways, its like Christmas here! Your so generous Paris <3 <3 <3 ***

The last item I bought was Vichy’s Micellar Lotion for makeup removal and loving it so far 🙂
Oh yes your reviews have always been very helpful..for eg ANR2 review was absolutely amazing! I am definitely picking up a sample next!
Pamela says
1. Last skincare item I bought was Sunblock, Spectraban SPF30++. It’s a repeat purchase as I like the non-greasy texture and cream-based.
2. So far I haven’t been influenced by MWS to purchase anything though it’s tempting reading the reviews.
Min Sen says
The last thing I bought was a batch of essential oils which I use to make my own soap for face, body and hair… and toothpaste! Is that considered as skincare?!
I just started checking out your blog recently so can’t say I’ve been swayed by you as yet! It looks promising though 🙂
