No. 5 already! Might this be the last one?
Celebrate October Giveaway No. 5 gives you a treat for the eyes, lips and face with a makeup base, fluttery lashes with mascara and a lovely pout with a lovely lip colour that’s wearable daily. I knew most of you wouldn’t dare flaunt the reds so I kept it simple, but included a brand new item from the Shiseido Fall Collection in the form of a golden gloss, so you can jazz up your lips for the coming party season!
A little bit about my Celebrate October Giveaways for the newbies amongst us. As a matter of principle, I don’t run many giveaways on my blog so I appreciate that those of you who do stop by, find the content interesting and useful and stay for the content. To thank you for your support throughout the year I try to find ways to reward you and these gift packs this year are my way of saying thank you. They all contain at least 1 personal favourite item which regulars will readily identify 😉
So, how do you go about winning this kit for yourself? Hopalong and find out.

The last book I read was Going Postal by Terry Pratchett. I definitely recommend this book if you like fantastic universes but I would say start with the first book since Going Postal is the 30th in a serie of 35 books….
Usually I don’t comment because I have nothing interesting to say 🙂

The last book I read was the last book in the Harry Potter series. I highly recommend it!!
I think social media channels are easier to interact on because they require less work (scrolling, etc.). Blog posts are harder, especially when one must scroll down and everyone’s comments are all listed at the bottom

Jennifer Government by Max Barry – I recommend it!
I am a more of a lurker and don’t really interact. I don’t want myself to be too public.

Last book I read-
50 Shades of Grey(I read it because of the hype that every woman must read and how good it is)
Do I recommand it?- I DONT!. A friend of mine recommanded to me saying that it will enhance my sexual relationship wif my partner. But i didnt enjoyed it much. The sexual content is good initially but I got bored half way through. The story is too predictable and the chapters are a bit repetitive for me. I actually didn’t even try finishing the book.
An advice for women n girls out there who r wanting to take a step up in their sexual relationship- google “sex stories”. hehe.. u wil be surprised there r great stories out there to help u out too..
Next question- I m less likely to interact on social media because half the time i see all these internet comment fights that go on. I respect everyone’s opnion and if anybody disrespect my opnion, i might get upset over it… hummm….

The last book I read was Days of Blood & Starlight , which is the 2nd book in the Daughter of Smoke & Bone series. Both the first and second book is highly recommended!!
I am more likely to use the comment box of a blog post rather than a social media channel mostly just cause it’s more convenient; It’s literally “right there” after I finish reading an article, whereas social media I would have to leave the page and go to facebook, twitter, etc.

The last book I read was “Nothing to envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea” by Barbara Demick. It is generally non-fictional. I recommend it for anyone who has vague ideas about life and history of Korea, in particular North Korea. It showed me how much suffering like famine, cannibalism, poverty and persecution is still very real in this day and age, even while I am so blessed to be born safe, unprejudiced and advantageous where I am. In short, it’s a book that opens another world view.
I used to be a quiet netizen, but I have grown to be more comfortable expressing myself online – probably due to the exposure of opinions of others and perusal of more interesting media over the past 2 years. I tend to respond toward blog posts and only occasionally in certain compelling twitter threads.

1. Last book I read was “Something Borrowed”. I recommend it to anyone who loves romance coming from imaginery character. I have yet to watch the movie though.
2. I prefer to interact through social media simply because I normally get a quicker response there! =p

I’m currently reading The Stewardship Call by Waldo J. Werning from my church library. Good so far!
I am not involved in social media so the comment section is my preferred means of communicating.

Hi Paris, i like your blog a lot and im normally not a big comment leaver, but i do read most of them. I like the fact that i can be on the other side of the world from you and still have a cmmon topic which we can both relate to.
The most recent book that i read was Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy and i absolutely have a such a bad book hangover because the writing was so excellent and now im left with nothing (yet) that would come anywhere close to that piece.
I dont really follow the social media and would consider myselfmore of a logging person. There is too much going on to be bothered with constant updates and details of people’s lives.

1.The last book I read was You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me by Sara Manning. I’ll definitely recommend it because as far as chick lits go, the protagonist is one that you can actually empathize with (she’s dealing with body issues). Take notes, Sophie Kinsella!
2. I very rarely interact, but when I do, I’ll rather do it on a social media platform, SIMPLY because the comment box is usually more readily visible. The reason for my scant interaction on blog posts is because I go on blogs to read and treat them as such; a reading material that is no different from a book. While thoughts do form in my head during the reading process, it is just not wired in me to articulate them. 🙂

I get absolutely excited talking about books! Used to read Nicholas Spark’s romance and all. But recently I started reading John Green as recommended by a friend. His books are really good, a weirdly different kind but its the kind that makes you think and ponder abt life.
And I don’t usually comment, well, I don’t know… Just cos I don’t think the blogger has time to read or that no one else really cares abt my opinion anyway I guess (but I do knw you reply to your readers but…)

I love John Green’s books as well!!! Ahhhh An Abundance of Katherines was really good..and parts of Paper Towns were haunting I find. The filming’s started for the ‘The Fault in our Stars’ movie, so I can’t wait to see how it looks on the big screen 🙂

What was the last book you read and do you recommend it? the last series I read was the twilight saga. I recommend it for hopeless romantics like me 🙂
Are you more likely to interact with us in the comment box of a blog post, or through a social media channel? If you don’t interact, is there a reason why not? I interact via blog posts and social media 🙂

The last book I have read is Before Ever After by Samantha Sotto and yes I do recommend it. It started slow (I almost put the book down because I got bored) but after the first chapter, I got hooked already.
I am most likely to leave a comment in a comment box from the blog post. I am a bit old school and not that active on twitter 😛 I also enjoy reading other readers’ comments

1. What was the last book you read and do you recommend it?
The lat book I read is, “Heaven Is For Real!” I literally cried through the whole book. It’s based on a true story and it gave me even more faith that God i always hovering over my shoulder. It made me appreciate a lot more in life and do things differently. I definitely recommend it.
2. Are you more likely to interact with us in the comment box of a blog post, or through a social media channel? If you don’t interact, is there a reason why not?
Social media channel because it’s easier. I’m out a lot and I can reach my social networks easily from my phone.

The last book I read was Animal Farm by George Orwell. DEFINITELY recommend it. Its a pretty short book so its quite easy to read, but the story is one that will leave you thinking and wondering about it for days on end. Its a very effecting book, especially when you count the historical symbols behind it.
I prefer to comment on the comment box under a post, because then you get to talk about the specific topic thats being discussed in the post. Although social media is great for when you want to drop a line to tell a blogger how much you appreciate their work in general!

The last book I read was Bridget Jones Diary. V good for some light reading 🙂 After all it is a chick-lit.
I prefer to interact via social media esp instagram. Easy to use and to comment 🙂

Thanks for another giveaway!!!
The last book I read was the Hunger Games series (no, you don’t have to be a kid to read this) and it’s definitely worth reading! Very “kan cheong”! 🙂
I would prefer to comment in the blog cause it’s simply more convenient. After reading your blog for the day, I just comment there and then…easy!

the last book i’ve read was called “Don’t sweat the small stuff…” . i’d recommend this for people who needs some motivation to move forward and to focus on their main goals despite facing `boulders` in life.
I do like to interact with bloggers but sometimes i get so shy to speak up. Mainly because i’m not confident with my views.

The last book i read was The Cookoo’s Calling, it was really good! Its actually by JK Rowling under another name and if you’re a fan of her writing or crime novels in general, its highly recommended.
I usually prefer to comment in the actual post itself.

1. The last book I read was Princess: A True Story of Life Behind the Veil in Saudi Arabia, by Jean Sasson. I recommend it as it gives us a look into the Saudi society and it is quite an interesting read.
2. I would prefer to interact in the comment box of a blog post or thru email and not through a social media channel as I am a private person and interacting in the comment box feels more anonymous compared to leaving comments through a social media channel.
