Hiyee Ladies and Gents!
Ok, I’m quite excited about this one because it’s been in the works for so long. Some of you may remember me seeking some opinions on Facebook from time to time, and we’re finally doing it! So, what’s the mysterious skincare brand that’s doing a skincare workshop with me and MWS for you lovelies?
REN SKINCARE!
Round of applause please 🙂 I am excited of course, because there is a lot to like about this brand and a lot I like about it.
So, if you’d like to join us for an informative afternoon at KENS Apothecary at Bangsar Village 2 (and I get to finally say hi to you lovelies of course!), the details on how to are below. Spaces are quite limited (we have space for just 20 peeps) and there is a fee (purchase a fully redeemable voucher) but I’m promised you will get it back with the generous door gift 🙂
Onwards to how to join us! 😀

REN Skincare – A brief intro
For those unfamiliar with REN Skincare, it is a brand of skincare that originates from the UK. What makes this brand different from other brands is that its selling point is that it is a “clean” brand i.e. it does not contain a lot of known harmful chemicals and it is also a brand that operates on using plant and mineral bio-actives.
What this means is that in every product, there are high tech bio-actives which give you the performance promised. The bio-actives are derived from plants and minerals and do not contain harmful chemicals or petrochemicals so they are “clean”. Finally, the products are a pleasure to use because they have a wonderful sensorial texture and fragrance. I’ve got a rundown on the brand in this post, a brief review on what I’d first tried, and in this post when they came back.
For those with sensitive skins, you may find that many of these products are suitable for sensitive skin use, even down to the Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask which many have touted to be very effective and gentle on their skins. My personal favourite is the Moroccan Rose Otto body oil which is a delight to the senses and to dry skin. I have also used up the Omega 3 Night Repair Serum and the Frankincense night cream, both of which I enjoyed using tremendously. I only stopped because I got distracted. Some day, I may go back to them.
Another product I am keen to try, because it gets so many raves, is the Bio Retinoid Anti-Aging Concentrate. You may notice my focus on anti-aging but that’s because I’m in that age group 😀 What REN is also popular for is their Hydracalm range for sensitive skins, to rebalance your skin. There are loads more products which I’m not familiar with so learning of them at the workshop will be as interesting for me as it will be for you 😉
You’ll learn more about all this at the workshop on the 14th September, 2013 (Saturday) @ 2.00pm so if you have the time and inclination, please do come and join us for a fun relaxing afternoon. I’ll be there with bells on (ok, not literally! What a sight that would be LOL ) but I’ll be there and I’d love to be able to meet some of you then 😀
To recap here’s the info you need:-
If you’re planning to attend, do let me know so I can keep an eye out for you! I’m excited, I hope you are too! 😀

I love REN skincare, probably one of my favourite brands for cleansers. I’ve used their Hydracalm Cleansing Gel and the Purity Cleansing Balm, both favourites. It’s expensive, but definitely work it because it deep cleanses but is not stripping.
Paris B says
I have only tried the Rosa Centifolia cleanser which I found average but I have been wanting to try their cleansing balm or the Hydracalm cleanser which I’m told is very good! They do have some nice items. Some are a bit of a miss too but overall I think they have a lot to offer! Glad to know you like the brand too Sheila 😀
Lily says

Paris B says
Yay! Looking forward to meet you then! I didn’t know you can just reserve your spot – that’s awesome! It should be about 2 hours although if we all start yakking I don’t know how long more we’d be there LOL! 😉

Hi, great event, I was there. Gay ppl sure do speak well about beauty products. I truly enjoyed his gay-ness and heard he is the toy-boy of the boss Ken himself. lol. Thanx for the invite, I truly enjoyed and gained a lot from the event. I love ren, nothing else but ren.
Paris B says
Hi Miss Muffet, I can’t place your nick off hand but it’s good to know you enjoyed the event. I won’t and can’t speculate on anyone’s preferences or statuses but I do think he presented the information well and in an interesting manner. I’ve enjoyed most of what I’ve tried from REN so far too.
