With Swiss Clock Precision, Wrinkles are reduced with this Swissline Cell Shock Anti-Wrinkle Serum

August 8, 2013 Paris B 9 Comments

Want this in a nutshell? This anti-wrinkle serum works as it says.

Yes, it also costs a pretty penny. Many many pretty pennies.

Swissline Cell Shock 360º Anti-Wrinkle Serum Triple Collagen Complex

Let’s dial back a little. Swissline is a Switzerland based brand of skincare that is sold primarily through salons and spas. I have tried some samples of their anti-aging skincare before this and I have to say that for the most part, I have been impressed. The Cell Shock Total Lift Overnight Cream is one I particularly like. Very light textured and makes skin look very nice. Especially helpful if you have dry skin or aging skin or are in hotel rooms and travel a lot. I had a small sample pot that went travelling with me all the time. Lovely!

The Cell Shock 360º Anti-Wrinkle Serum Triple Collagen Complex was launched earlier this year in 2013 and is a serum that is targeted at lifting wrinkles, lines and plumping up dry skin. Also targeted at those with dry and more matured skin, this serum works to plump up skin collagen and make it more resilient and infuse it with moisture.

Whilst I won’t agree with it helping with moisture, I will agree that it does make lines look less apparent on skin. If you have naso-labial lines (or laugh lines) and lines on your forehead, then you will likely notice a lifting effect. Quite impressive.

The serum comes in a luxe looking slim gold tube with a see through bar at the back where you can see just how much or how little serum you have left.

I find this helpful. I just finished one of my serums without realising, because there was no way to tell how much product I had left, and so I am left a little high and dry.

The packaging too is quite innovative, having a self-dispensing dropper that picks up and gives you just the right amount you need each time.

Swissline Cell Shock 360º Anti-Wrinkle Serum Triple Collagen Complex

When closed, the white part is concealed. The minute you twist the cap open, the white part pops up, picking up the clear serum in the dropper. You then just have to dispense the full amount into the palm of your hand and apply to your skin. Always guaranteed of the perfect quantity each time 😀 I like packaging that does this. Takes out the guesswork.

The product itself is a runny clear serum that feels very liquid. It absorbs very very quickly into skin so I have to ensure that I work fast. Almost at once, you can feel it drying up on your skin. But if you have fine lines or deep lines, what is noticeable after just a week’s use is how much lighter the lines get.

What this product does is apparently help plump up the areas that are dry and this will alleviate the lines. Also, I get a slight “tight” feeling on my skin which isn’t uncomfortable but I have to mention it because it does feel a little strange.

Swissline Cell Shock 360º Anti-Wrinkle Serum Triple Collagen Complex

You use it after cleansing and before your usual moisturiser. I only use this in the evening, and I always layer a hydrating serum over it because I don’t feel that this delivers enough moisture to my skin. In fact, it doesn’t seem to for me. But it gets rid of the lines.

I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who is really looking to prevent lines and wrinkles because I do think you can start out with something more affordable and which keeps your skin more hydrated than this serum. But if you already have lines and you want something that actually does do the job, this one is worth trying.

In a nutshell

The Swissline Cell Shock 360º Anti-Wrinkle Serum Triple Collagen Complex is a serum targeted at reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It is very lightweight and very easily absorbed and best of all, does the job. Lines are noticeably lightened after just a week’s use for me. However I don’t feel that it hydrates my skin very much and so I do need a separate hydrating serum. It is very pricey so I don’t think it’s for everyone, only if you have the specific problem it seeks to address.

Pros: Reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles, Skin looks and feels smoother with regular use

Cons: Pricey, Does not feel very hydrating

Who will like this: Anyone with noticeable lines and wrinkles and wants to reduce their appearance and smoothen skin

Here is the ingredient list for anyone interested.

A friend of mine also told me that she found this one very good for lightening lines and she has sensitive skin which wasn’t irritated by this at all. She did not mention the tightening effect or that she did not find it hydrating enough so it would seem that I’m the only one so far who thinks so!

I’ve since handed this over to my Mum who usually nicks all my line erasing serums anyway 😛

Have you tried anything by Swissline? Do you have a concern about making lines and wrinkles look less apparent?

Other than my laugh lines and lines on my forehead, I should count myself lucky that I don’t have much of a problem with lines. Then again, lines do come with aging and also with life’s experiences so I don’t think they are necessarily a bad thing. It’s just vanity that makes us think so 😉 I don’t recommend this one for someone trying to prevent lines, but if you have them and they concern you, this is one that does work.

Priced like gold! The packaging seems apt then 😉 But hey, if it works and if it’s something one personally feels is well worth it, it sounds like a very promising product. I’d like to visit it one day when my lines are a lot worse. Remind me! 😉

Probably even pricier than gold! 😛 It definitely works. Lines on forehead were gone. But I let Mom have it. Gave her more lines than I should in my time so just as well I help her erase them LOL

The scary part is… it doesn’t work! Gah! LOL I like that little bar too – makes so much sense right? I hate not knowing how much is in there, then running out after a store promotion has just ended. /facepalm

I HV super dehydrated n dry skin. Recently tried swissline very rich cream. It was very strange that the cream can eventually dried skin out and “drag” & “tight” my skin to very uncomfortable stage. Including aqua calm cream and force vital range, it can stretching the skin, cause my skin to very dehydrated and abnormal oiliness enlarge pores 🙁

No prizes for guessing which Jobot installation was my favourite! The one with the dog of course! They also had a key chain with a dog. So. Bloody. Cute!!
And after so many years finally got a photo with event organizer extraordinaire @cyrus.chin because we didn’t get the white & beige memo and came instead in (unplanned) matching sunny coral instead 😂
