There isn’t much of substance I’ve prepared for today, it being a self-declared day off for me so I just have a random filler sort of post which in most cases would be termed a FOTD (Face Of The Day). For me, its a Filler-post Of The Day 😛
This was a look I did last week using one of the colours I’m most afraid to work with – Purple. I was quite pleased with it hence my mug plastered right here. Perhaps the fact the eyeshadow matched my shirt helped things along 😛
Here’s another angle where you can actually see the purple on the eyes instead of having to wonder at what I’m yammering on about.
Yes it would appear that I can comfortably wear Purple after all, albeit a cool toned purple 🙂 Just a quick and simple sort of look that isn’t terribly artistic but imminently wearable daily. A quick breakdown of what is used is below.
- Face: Liole Triple the Solution BB Cream – review coming soon. This is the BB Cream I’ve been Tweeting about being the first ever Korean BB Cream I have little to nothing bad to say about it and those familiar will know that’s a near impossibility! 😯
- Eyes : Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette – Omen, Half Truth, Midnight 15 blended. This has fast become a favourite daily eyeshadow palette of mine!
- Cheeks: Lancome Rose Blush Subtil in Rose Corail
- Lips: Sleek Makeup Pout Polish in Bare Minimum blended with Pout Paint in Pin Up

You might like some purple blush like Plum Nuance by Estee Lauder. It is quite workable on skin.

Haha yes I don’t usually wear purples because of that dreaded “punched in the eye” look. But since working around with cool purples, I’ve realised its very fresh! Thanks Plue 🙂
