Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Diaries : A 28 Day Challenge

October 10, 2011 Paris B 31 Comments

Ah the regular readers will know I’m a huge huge fan of the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. Have been since its launch last year and I haven’t stopped raving about it to anyone who would listen.

I even mix it into my moisturisers or with other serums always with very good results. So, when I was approached by Kiehl’s Malaysia to see if I might like to participate in a 28 day Midnight Recovery Concentrate challenge, I thought “Hey, why not? I love it already anyway!”

I’ve not been using the MRC for a while as I’ve been fingering other products, so it would be nice to go back to something I love. This time, I’m pairing it with the newly launched Midnight Recovery Eye Concentrate – the eye cream. Aha! Something new! 😉

I will be updating my 28 day journey using the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate and the MRC Eye cream on Twitter, along with a few other local celebs/bloggers – Baki Zainal, Chelsia Ng and Jezmine Zaidan. If you’d like to follow me and read what I think about both the serum and eye cream as we go, I’m on Twitter as @paris_b I’m an avid Twitterer so its really the best way to get in touch with me or to ask a question you want answered pronto 🙂

As I already love the MRC serum, what I’ll do is try to update a wee bit more about the new Midnight Recovery eye cream. It promises fresher, younger looking eyes by morning so let’s take that challenge up shall we? 🙂 Heaven knows, we all need fresher younger looking eyes.

If you’d like to take this journey along with with me, go and dig out your Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate serum and when I update my MRC experience on Twitter, you can update me yours too 😀

See ya round Twitter! Tweet! 😀

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate retails at RM200/30ml and the Midnight Recovery Eye retails at RM150/15ml. Find out more at the Kiehl’s Malaysia Facebook page.

Hmm… I actually thought the MRC has a stronger smell. I use very little of the eye cream so I can’t really smell the lavender but will take an extra healthy sniff later tonight!

I don’t have acne prone skin Shannen so I’m sorry I can’t help with that one. It does not clog my pores though and I will be sure to share thoughts on the eye cream once this month is up!

It makes me skin look relaxed (even when I’m not) so that’s why I like the serum – I think you’ll be getting the eye cream in PH soon!

Hey have you try the Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate which has 10.5% Vitamin C? It is said that when combined with the MRC will bring out optimal radiance (according to Australian Kiehl’s website)

Yes I have tried this one and I do like it. I tried combining it with the MRC but it didn’t give me super wow results. Skin does look better but it wasn’t crazy radiant 😀 Thanks for reminding me of this. I”ll have to run a review soon! 😀
