One of the first liquid foundations that converted me into a liquid foundation user was Lancome Maquiliquide UV Infinite foundation way back in 2009. It was super light on the skin, did not make me oily and sat looking perfect for most of the day. I still use it now and again so when I found out it was being discontinued in favour of the new Lancome Maqui Miracle Blanc liquid foundation, I was devastated.
You see, Iam one of those rare birds who absolutely disliked the new Lancome Teint Miracle liquid foundation (oily, shiny, greasy. yikes!) and suddenly, here I was being confronted with yet another “miracle” based foundation. Would it not touch me with a miracle again? It took me weeks before I steeled myself to try it.
Thankfully, Maqui Miracle Blanc liquid foundation sailed through with flying colours, and I can safely tell you that if you liked Lancome Maquiliquide UV Infinite, or you found Teint Miracle too oily, or you have oily skin, then Maqui Miracle is probably it for you too! 😀
The new packaging is all angles and the square bottle doesn’t quite hit the spot the same way that the round frosted glass bottle does in the old Maquiliquide. At a glance, it looks lovely and elegant with all that clear plastic, but up close and in your hand, I prefer the old bottle for a more tactile feel. Feel free to disagree 😛
Formula wise, I found it very similar to Maquiliquide. It is almost as if Lancome simply repackaged their Maquiliquide formula into a different bottle and gave it a different name. That is, for me a good thing because Maquiliquide worked for me so having to readjust to a different foundation formula would have sucked.
The formula is watery and really, 1 pump is too much, I use BO-01 which is, I believe the lightest shade available. The formula is a touch yellow based so if you have redness in skin, this will help you counter-act it somewhat, and give a more even toned finish to the skin, hence the “natural brightening creator”. However, I find if I use too much, it can work the other way and make me look a bit sallow so I have to be very careful with this one. Maquiliquide, although the same colour and tone, matches my skin better for some reason.
I have applied this using the quick idiot proof method and with a stippling brush, and it works both ways. I do find that with a stippling brush or skunk brush, you might use less foundation which is always a good thing so half a pump suffices for me. I find the coverage medium and buildable to semi-full coverage. Very little is enough for my use.
Like Maquiliquide, Maqui Miracle Blanc is light on the skin, does turn me oily or shiny and once set with a little powder, lasts for hours (takes me from morning to night). If you can find a colour match, I think it fulfils everything a liquid foundation should.
Pros: Lightweight texture, Longlasting on skin, Medium buildable coverage, Not oily, Foundation shades tailored for asian skin tones
Cons: Not favouring the plastic cap in the packaging, Can be a touch too yellow toned for some

You can see that the Lancome foundations tend towards the yellow toned compared to the rest, and that the texture is more watery. Spread out, it doesn’t look too yellow, but I do have to be careful not to overdo it. Neutral colours like the Bourjois or Clarins foundations work better on my skin and are a better colour match for me so I use those more often. Dior’s is a little pink but also works well without too much trouble.
So as I have said above, if you have redness in your skin or a warm skintone, do give this one a go. You could possibly pick up a sample at the counters. If you have oily skin or want something that can last through sweat (well, almost) give this a look too. With this foundation on, I can bluff my way through using a bronzer and a lovely pink blush which sits well on the yellow tone of the foundation.

I’ve tried a sample of this but somehow or other the jar couldn’t open no matter what I tried. I do like the finish!

I’m looking forward to try this! I LOVE the Maquiliquide so I’m really hoping that the replacement would be just as good. My Diorskin is lovely but I picked a color that’s a tad too light. Have to mix it with my darker foundations to get a better match
I love Maquiliquide too so I’m glad this one didn’t disappoint. That said, its a tad too yellow for me so boo at having to be too careful.

I owned the maquiliquid in O-02 and I use 2 pumps… hahaha.
I like medium to full coverage so 1 pump is not enough.
I love the formula, doesnt feel greasy on me but nothing can stay on my nose more than 3 hours, and so this foundation.
I initially want to get their teint idole, but OOS dunno why so I tried the maquiliquid.
Have you tried setting the foundation with some powder? I find that helps with staying power. But that said, I don’t have oily skin so I’m probably not the best person to advise you on that haha! I’m told all Lancome foundations are being discontinued and leaving just Teint Miracle, Maqui Blanc Miracle and the Maqui Miracle compact 🙂
I tried with oil control primer and powder, nothing’s work. Actually only my nose get tons of oil, the rest just fine. I dunno what’s with my nose…. If I found something can stay in my nose for more than 5 hours, I will let the world know… hahahaha 😀

I like Lancome’s Lancome Maquiliquide UV Infinite Liquid Foundation. My only complaint is that the shade is a tad too yellow on me. And if you like the texture of this foundation, you might also enjoy Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation. The shades suit me better and i love the texture, finish and oil control after using it for sometime. I’m not one who ‘oils’ much but the Lancome’s first Miracle is indeed a miracle. I was ‘oiling’ like anything just a couple hours into wearing it. All greased up. And i was actually using blotters from my colleague. Can i say i hate it? I’m a liquid foundation junkie but i think i will just give this miracle blanc a miss.
Yes I do find the Lancome shades a little yellow. I went to take a look at Chanel but they don’t carry anything below B20 here (I believe because they couldn’t find me an exact colour match 🙁 ) I might have to look online for what I know is B10. Teint Miracle was a miracle for me too – turned my oily skin into the Middle East oil platform 😛
U can get a sample from them to try out the shades and texture before you go online to source for b10.B20 might suit you. I’m using B20 and I’m usually a mac nc20. Usually nc20 is a teeny bit dark for me but surprisingly when I tried out the sample in 30 for the Chanel mat lumiere extreme powder, it still match me naturally. Quite weird right?
I did get a sample actually B20 or was it BR20? It was a match though a bit darker (SA agreed) but oxidised later 🙁 I can’t be lighter than NC20 though I don’t know what I am really in MAC 😛

I am still traumatised by the Teint Miracle which made me feel like I was drowning in my own facial oils so instead I bought the powder foundation version of this. Unfortunately, the powder foundation was too cakey & dry on my skin. Ok, I guess Lancome bases and I are not meant to be, so no trying this one out.
Lol! I found the powder base dry too. The colour I got was way too dark so didn’t manage to find out how it fared in the long term. It’s ok, there are tons of other brands out there! 🙂

I don’t think it absorbs oil per se, but it doesn’t make my skin very oily throughout the day. Hope you like it too.
Tried it yesterday too. my tone is O-02, really long lasting (I actually wore it from 11am-6am, 19hours!!). Just that my face is a little bit oily after 5 hours, lightly press with tissue and it’s still good to go! Got to know that it will dry up my skin a bit, makeup artist suggested me to use smaller portion as I have combination dry skin. pea size is really more than enough for my face!
Hi ParisB. I chanced upon your blog when I was searching through more info on this new Lancome Maqui Miracle foundation. I have actually just bought Teint Miracle like 2 weeks ago and really like it. Do you think I should get myself a bottle of this? I am asian so thought since this is specially formulated for asian skin, it should work even better for me?
Another question I have, and hoping you can help me is I am a Malaysian living abroad in a rather cold and dry weather. So should I pick a foundation that is formulated to suit asian skin (yet most of them target a more humid environment, like Maqui) or should I actually go for one that formulated for our dry weather here (non-asian version)?
Hi Doreen 🙂 Its great to know Teint miracle works for you because it left me looking like an oil slick! My suggestion is to use a foundation that you feel comfortable in. Maqui Miracle may be touted as for Asian skins because of the colour and because many of us are based in a warmer, more humid climate where oil control is more a priority. However if you are in a drier climate then perhaps Teint Miracle may work better to give a more moisturised look. Just some thoughts 🙂
Hi! I know this is post is reaaally old but i just found out that the Lancome Maquiliquide Foundation was discontinued I have been using it all these years!! probably not the best bc it most definitely is expired lol but i was wondering if the Maqui Blanc is discontinued as well.
I’d love to know what other foundations do you think is similar to the original Lancome Maquiliquide 🙂
Hi Angela, you’re right, it is old! LOL! I’m afraid I’m not sure if the Maqui Blanc foundation is discontinued, but I will hedge a bet and say that it is, because brands do change and reformulate products at least once in every 2 years at least. To be honest with you, I have very little recollection of the Lancome Maquiliquide foundation anymore, so I’m very sorry that I’m unable to help you 🙁 However,if it helps, and you are familiar with the texture, perhaps you could trawl through my foundation archives, and see if anything more recent that I’ve tried jumps out at you? 🙂
