Sneak Preview Peek: Maison Lancome blush for Fall 2011

June 13, 2011 Paris B 24 Comments

Lancome Fall 2011 is a celebration of simple Parisian chic. Simple neutral eyes, gentle pink blush, and the quintessential classic red lip and red nail polish to complete the look.

Marina of Makeup4all has some press pictures of the Lancome 29 St. Honore collection. The red lip for Fall trend seems to be a recurring theme with Lancome – French Coquettes last year had a similar sort of theme with the La Rose Deco blush that looked a bit boring, but which applies beautifully. I’m still using it often.

Maison Lancome is this year’s blush offering – a blush embossed with the image of Maison Lancome in Paris. This is a quick sneak preview peek of what it’ll look like.

Lancome St. Honore Fall collection 2011 – Maison Lancome blush

I can tell you that the colour is very soft and very pretty against the skin. The overspray and embossing will disappear in time, but the colours are lovely and usable on most skintones.

It’ll be available in August 2011 here, and I’ll have the lowdown for you with more photos and swatches and a review about then so come back if you’re interested 😉 For now, go nuts gawking! 😉

Aww… how pretty! 🙂

Paris B

Lancome Maison Lancome blush is limited edition for Fall 2011. Local availability in August 2011. Price unknown for now.

I don’t find Lancome jacking up their prices too high for the LE products like some other brands. Its gorgeous but if it doesn’t sell out and you are prepared to wait for 6-8 months you might… MIGHT find it on strawberrynet 😉

An “I’ll be out all day and need my makeup to An “I’ll be out all day and need my makeup to stay on” look 😅 Super simple and using stuff I already own. How many do you recognise? 😅

For the base I think the key is the Nars setting powder which is basically a silica powder. Many brands have similar white powder for setting. I did this same look yesterday and it barely budged/faded by evening. Only lipstick needed a little topping up 😊

And this is about all the makeup I can handle these days 😂 no eye makeup cos I can’t be arsed 🤪

Excellent good fun! 😆 Your eyes always want more than your stomach can handle. Ate a lot and bought even more food back home. Diet? What diet? 😂

Posting for posterity because I like this photo 😆 Also hello! 😜

It’s interesting that when I meet people they always ask me “Are you still blogging?” which tells me they don’t read my blog anymore (cos if they did they’d know I am lol! Weekly generally, but still writing) Yet I don’t blame them because a lot of social credit is placed on one’s Instagram presence. This I fear, is an area I am lacking. I pop in every now and then, share stories that are totally unrelated to what people follow me for, then wonder why they unfollow lol! Other times, spider webs gather in the corners of my unused account. I don’t blame them. Not everyone wants to know what my dogs are up to 😜

Anyway I make no apologies. It’s ok if you follow. It’s ok if you don’t. It’s ok if you’re interested in stuff I do. It’s ok if you’re not. Life goes on for both you and I and ultimately, we just both want it to be happy. So do what makes you happy 😊 I’ll still share my beauty finds and I still blog once a week. I may share what I’m up to from time to time, or I may not. I can tell you that I’m keeping busy and that I have a lot on my plate, none of it glamorous unlike that of most content creators/influencers. It’s too boring for most for me to share here so I’ll just share the good bits - as Instagram intended 😂

But if you want to find me, you’ll know how 😊

The review for the product is somewhere on the blog mywomenstuff.com
Yes I know many of you are terrified of lizards 🦎🫣

But I liked this sunscreen - for the body. Even though it left a white cast. Even though it is hard to remove. It kept my arms protected through a weekend of brutal sun exposure and I survived without burning! ✌🏻
