Another day, another giveaway for turning 4! Approaching the end though. Tell me you’re liking this 😛
So you all know I love my red lipsticks. I’d like to think I might have inspired some of you to go down the red lip road heh… or at least, give red lipstick a try. Honestly, it transforms a look instantly and everyone can wear red lipstick – you just have to wear it with attitude!
So to get you started, here are 2 red lipsticks I’d like to share with you, from 2 brands I personally like – Clarins Rouge Prodige Fusion Red and Rouge Dior Red Premiere. This also means, there will be 2 winners! Yay! 😀
Open worldwide, because I can 🙂
For a chance to win one of the 2 lipsticks featured here, here’s 2 things you can do – you must do #1 but #2 is optional:-
- Compulsory – Leave a comment below telling us how you feel about red lipstick. Does it scare you? Do you love it? Does it make you look classy? Or trashy? 😛 Spill your red lipstick stories! 😀
- Optional – Like this post on Facebook, or Tweet it – your choice. Clicking on the Tweet and Like buttons on the top or bottom of this post will do the trick; or just post it on your Facebook/Twitter and when you’re done doing either, leave a separate comment below with a link to your Facebook status or Tweet so I know its been done 🙂 (Just choose either social media – doing both is nice but its still only 1 extra entry) For FB entries, please use the Like button here, not on the MWS page.
I realize the rules are slightly different this time, but as I’ve mentioned, #2 is optional – although it basically gets you an extra entry which means increasing the odds of winning 😉
Clarification: If you choose to participate in the Optional entry, please leave a separate comment with the link to your status so you’ll have 2 comments total. If its bundled, I’ll count it as 1 – we’re going by comment count. Also, whether you use Facebook or Twitter, you only get 1 extra entry. Extra comments will be deleted. 🙂 To get your status link on FB/Twitter click on the date – thats the link we want, not your profile link. I’ll allow the links for this giveaway but future giveaways will be more strict.
The deadline is 12 noon on 31 March 2011 (Thursday) (+8 GMT) and 2 winners will be chosen from the comments below. The lipsticks will be assigned at random so keep your fingers crossed for the one you’d like 🙂
Good luck!
Paris B

I like people using red lipstick, I think they look pretty and attractive using it.
Red lipstick’s a classic.
I LOVE RED LIPSTICKS! hahaha
Sometimes it made me look classy, sometimes it made me look SEXY. and of course sometimes looked kinda “ganas” too as what my boyfie told me.
but wearing red lippie needs some confidence though in my point of view as it will capture attention. but hey, it is good to have some attention at times, it boosts my confidence 😀
Hi Paris! To be honest you are really the one who inspired me to wear red lipsticks. I used to think red lipstick would make me look trashy, but since looking at your various pictures of you wearing red lipstick i changed my mind and am too addicted to red lipstick! The first time i spotted with a “full blown” red lipstick is during my prom but then it was with orange tone and makes my teeth look yellowish, but I still get compliments from that hehee! I am wanting to try a truely red lipstick since! =)
I’ve always worn dark reds in the past and I’m only now really starting to wear brighter reds. They can look so classy and stylish! I really love Chanel’s Rouge Allure Dragon, but it’s a bit over the top for me for during the day.
I’ve thick lips or at least that’s what everyone has been telling me, I’ve been compare to the actress Shu Qi before. Hence I’ve a fear of red lipsticks as they might highlight the fact that I have thick lips. I’ve always been using nude lipsticks because of that.
But there’s always a part of me who always wanted to try red lipsticks, it looks so good, simple and yet elegant. And those who wear red lipsticks always seem so self confident. Red lipstick can go both ways trashy and classy, and that depends on the rest of the make up and dressing. So you can’t really blame red lipsticks for that!I And I would love to try experimenting with it!
I like how red lip looks on me, but i’m always too chicken to actually wear it out. I would buy red lipsticks and wear it when i get home, and think “wow this looks awesome” but i almost never wear it out x___x
however i have worn sheerer reds like VG Cyndi out, or Revlon CB in Soft Rose (which turns red on me by mid day), mostly because they don’t seem as dramatic? And i DO look good in red shades…
I adore the idea of red lipstick but think it is very difficult to pull off without full on makeup.
I do love red lipstick but it also scares me! I am in a seemingly never-ending search of the perfect shade. Please let one of these shades be Mr. Right!
I never had a red lipstick until the day I got married. Didn’t have the courage to try it but I would say it turned out to be pretty nice. However, I haven’t tried one after that day as I am afraid that I would choose a wrong ‘red’. =) would love to win a red lipstick to break the fear of getting one.
In my opinion, women who wear red lipstick look sophisticated, chic, and attractive. BTW I love wearing red lipstick, and I love to create my red lips’ print on the glass while drinking, haha, it just sharpen my feminine side.
I have yet to find a red lipstick that suits me, and I’m a little half hearted in my search because I have this notion that red is for a special occassion. I would really love to try a red that I can wear as an everyday color too! Thanks for organising the giveaway 🙂
Too bold for my liking. But good to use for writing on the mirror. hehe
To wear red lipstick, you have to wear it right, meaning the right shade, tone, place and time etc. How your eyes are done up also really makes a difference, too heavy can make it look trashy if application isn’t neat. ;P
Random story bit.. I always find that when I take off red lipstick and it leaves a light rub of color around my lips I look really whoreish. xD like I’ve been, doing something else..
I love love love red lipstick! My last acquisition was Illamasqua Encounter, but is never too much one (or two) more!
Red lipstick to me is for glamorous night-outs with my lips screaming LOOK AT ME!
Used to use red lipstick until I had kids, once I had them, red lipsticks are all put aside cause love kissing my kiddies too much, and red lipstick would just smear all over their faces.
Red lipstick is my way of living the Hollywood moment. A time when the flash lights seems to concentrate only on you and people’s gaze are only turned towards you. Its is truly, deservingly my time to shine. Only red lipsticks has the ability to turn me into a feisty friend, a daring lover, a brave daughter, a glamorous vixen, a courageous mother and a cool hearted foe.
