Is it foundation or is it an illusion? Its the Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion

Hmm… how do I say this? Let’s just be quick and simple about it – I like this cream foundation 🙂

This is actually my first time using a cream foundation and my expectations were that it would be oily, creamy and thick. Interestingly, the Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation was none of the above.

This Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation is a cream foundation that gives the illusion of liquid foundation. Leave aside your notions of thick cakey foundation because this fella is super lightweight! I find that it takes on a slightly powdery feel on my skin, and I really like this one!

Will you step into my Dressing Room?

Well not quite my Dressing Room. Its more like “our Dressing Room” 🙂

Dressing Room is actually an online women’s clothing store based in Hong Kong. I’d happened to come across it once or twice in my online trawls but it wasn’t until one of the co-owners, Seline, approached me, that I took a closer look at it.

I know I’ve said many a time that I’m afraid of shopping for clothes online. I’ve shopped before a long time ago, but I stopped when I found I was getting clothes of quite shoddy material that did not fit their description. Understandably therefore, I was a little reluctant to get into this again … but the dresses I saw on Dressing Room were too nice to refuse!

Seline offered to send me 2 dresses and in the process of browsing the site, I purchased another 2 for Chinese New Year! 😀 Talk about being impulsive 😀 I basically went from owning 0 dresses bought online to owning 4! My favourite one is above (a Karen Millen design) and I’ll show you the others below. Happy Saturday Ladies!

We all love Saturdays and Sundays don’t we? We wake up after a lie in, safe and secure in the knowledge that we have 2 whole days to ourselves. No nagging bosses, customers or clients. No deadlines… for some of us. And above all, no work! Hurray! 😀

Then Monday comes round and suddenly, its “Monday Blues” and we feel down about dragging ourselves around to work again.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

The way that you wake up with a smile on a weekend and know that the whole day goes right, that should be the same way you wake up on a weekday.

Oh I know its easier said than done. When I have something on early in the morning of a working day I wake up and think “Oh crap! Is it here already? Do I really have to get up?” But you know you do, so why be depressed about it? Take it in stride! The happier the day is, the quicker it goes by 😉 Here’s how I try to get through the weekday blues.

Briefly about Clinique x Milly Pretty in Prints Collection For Spring 2011

The day I set eyes on the Milly for Clinique pouch, I thought to myself “Pucci! “Don’t you think it looks so Pucci? 😀

Its very pretty and I’d not hide the pouch away in a drawer somewhere. Oh no! I’ll use it to store things… like lipsticks in my handbag or maybe my keys. It’ll be bright and cheery in my bag 😀

This is just a quick look at the Clinique Milly Pretty in Prints palette for Spring 2011. I’ll try to find time over the weekend to grab some swatches and bring you a review next week 🙂
