Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash : Lovely and Inexpensive shower treat

January 13, 2011 Paris B 17 Comments

Body washes or shower gels are a serious weakness of mine. On the plus side however, things like these really finish up quickly if used constantly, so I’m always in the market for more 😀

This Olay Botanical Fusion body wash was purchased by me from Shanghai. I have not seen it around here, so we might or might not get it in time.

You know what this Botanical Fusion body wash reminds me of? The Total Effects body wash! Its got the same sort of texture, which is a little like foamy mousse, and the same sort of scent.

I like that it cleans without drying. That’s the key point. However, I found the scent a little more powdery than the Total Effects body wash.

I don’t think I need to tell you how to use a body wash right? 😛

Its got a fluffy texture which I like and when I purchased it, I saw it came in 2 sizes. But I was “kiasu” so I got the bigger bottle, just in case I really liked it and couldn’t find it in Kuala Lumpur LOL! 😀

Pros: Does not dry my skin, Cleans well, Only little is needed each time

Cons: Unavailable in Malaysia at point of writing, Scent is rather powdery

Are you as nuts about body wash as I am? I now only buy the smaller sizes available, just so I can finish them up more quickly, and therefore have more variety. Gone are my days of going for the big bottles for “value for money” unless I really really like it 😀

Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash was purchased from Shanghai, China but I’ve forgotten the price. Unavailable in Malaysia at point of writing until further notice.

Haha… most makeup is small enough as it is 😛 But for shower stuff, I’m glad I get variety this way 🙂

Oh I do finish my body washes. I just have like 5 bottles open at the same time and I use them depending on my mood of the day! 😀 When I really want to finish something, I am VERY liberal when I use it 😛

i NEVER NEVER to that. Mainly because I can’t use other body washes apart from whatever Johnsons and Johnsons come out with. ^.^

But yeah, it could be fun, changing body washes every now and then…

I have a serious weakness for body washes and shampoos. Love 100% pure’s body washes and especially their body scrubs are heaven literally.

Do check out their ingredient list. I finds it amazing this company can actually comes up with natural products like this. I now buy my supply from: http://www.puritycosmetics.com.sg/. With the Buy 5 get 2 Free promo, it sure is a great deal. Also available at Buds Cosmetic in Singapore. I’m not sure whether Malaysia carries.

Ooh body wash! I love them. I used to buy smaller bottles as well so that I could shower with a different one each time. Then I got married and had to share bathrooms with a man who doesn’t understand why I needed so many things in the bathroom. So now, we only have one gigantic economy value pack save money in long run botol. So boring. Sigh.

You should do this. Buy Mr. TM a huge tub of economy size body wash. Then tell him he cannot touch your small bottles. When he comes out smelling of roses you’ll know you’ve got a convert 😛

Hmm.. i like to try different/new products too, but i never thought to buy smaller bottles for body wash. Haha. I shall do that from now on.

There’s a website that sells skincare and makeup in sample sizes; ‘best buy world’ – not sure if it’s legal for them to do so. I’ve bought some skincare items from there and they’re decent. So no complaints.

I haven’t tried them but I actually dislike sample sized anything except for travel. I like the regular sized products, but smaller… if that makes sense haha.

Yes they’re very convenient for travel! Also because i tend to take forever to finish most things i buy and some end up expiring or having different texture from when i initially bought them. Haha. Maybe i just buy too many for me to finish using any.
