“Squeeeaaalll!!!!”
That was my reaction upon receiving this most luxurious gift last weekend. Or maybe not, but I was squealing inside with glee.
A gift from a very lovely friend of one of Tom Ford’s Private Blend lipsticks launched earlier this year. I had the run of the house and I picked Moroccan Rouge, a reddened plum. Plum? Moi?
I think the gifter was just as surprised as I was to see the colour in the tube. We both stared it for a good 5 seconds, before checking to see if the colour is what it says it is LOL… I have just swatched a tiny side of it on the back of my hand, quite loathe to disturb the TF etched right into the center of the lipstick.
The colour is gorgeous. A fuchsia toned plummy red that is on the cooler side. A Fall colour, that’s for sure. I’ll steel myself and bring some proper swatches soon 🙂
I haven’t been this excited about a lipstick in a very very long while! 😀

I’m afraid its not here yet. Its currently in the USA and UK. I’m not certain about other locations. Try something from Dior Rouge or Lancome Rouge Absolu. They have beautiful formulas in lipstick without too hefty a price tag 😉
