I love me some NARS!

August 24, 2010 Paris B 29 Comments

Being so inaccesible in this part of the world, NARS is nothing if not a cult brand for us. So when someone offers me a chance to order some NARS from the USA of course I leap at the opportunity!

Fittingly, I’d been lusting after the NARS Tzarine eyeshadow duo which is a new item for Fall 2010. So once I saw it available it was all systems go!

Since I was already at it, I also picked up the Orgasm Illuminator (no thanks to buddy LeGeeque’s raves) and a Smudge Brush #15. The last item is something I’d been wanting for years. I just never picked it up because I thought it freaking expensive for such a tiny brush.

But having read nothing but raves for the #15 smudge brush, I had to see what the hype is all about. Apparently, its a must have to create a good smokey look or to smoke out eyeliner or even to just use for lining with powder.

I’ll be seeing how well it works for me. And I leave you with Nars Tzarine eyeshadow duo. The item that started this haul in the first place 😛

Pretty no? 🙂 Now which item do you want me to dig into first?

NARS Tzarine eyeshadow duo (US$32) #15 Smudge Brush (US$26) Orgasm Illuminator (US$29)

Swatch will come up soon! Closest NARS for us will be Bangkok and HK. Pity 😛 But its pretty pricey either way.

Yikes! Could that breakout be stress? Or a shampoo that didn’t work for you?

FOTD! hahaha then you can use EVERYTHING 😛

I’ve always been tempted to get the Malaysia, just for the name (hahaha) but I don’t think I’ll ever have the heart to splurge so much on makeup, unless I’m earning in pounds..

When Malaysia first came out, I was fascinated too (for the name) but I don’t use Multiples so I passed. Then they came up with Kuala Lumpur eyeshadow duo which I was also fascinated with… but the colours weren’t me. Sigh… Btw, if you save RM1 a day, getting a NARS item becomes affordable 😉 But I wouldn’t get the multiple – maybe a powder product that will last you longer.

oohhh Paris you are tempting me with your NARS haul 🙂 i wish NARS is available here in Malaysia. by the way how do you think Tzarine compares to Rajasthan? i can’t decide! 🙂

I saw Rajasthan and its like the darker, warmer sister of Tzarine. I’ve worked out that although I’m neutral toned, I do tend to look better in cool shades so Tzarine it was. Rajasthan had the potential to make my eyes look muddy. That said, if you have warm tones, I reckon it’d be gorgeous!

Tzarine please! I love the colour combination though I don’t know if I like it enough to get it. I usually fall out of love with NARS products fairly quickly…

psst! Me too 😛 But Tzarine held my interest for more than 2 seconds so I guess I’d like it hehe… I’m a little wary about the packaging though. Afraid it’d die on me in time to come.

Haha don’t we all get suckered in by other bloggers?! I got suckered because of blogs too (especially hard when we don’t get Nars here 😉 ) Debated long and hard between Tzarine or Rajasthan.

Nice haul! I love Nars too, but unfortunately I don’t have a counter near me.

The Orgasm Illuminator sounds nice and so does the brush.
