Saturday Surfing around for Bargains

May 29, 2010 Paris B 10 Comments

Yesterday was Wesak Day here – a holy day for Buddhists, and a holiday for the rest of the country so with many people away for the long weekend, I’m keeping this one short 🙂 Its a good time to take a look at what my beauty blogging sisters have been on about in May 2010.

  • Oui Mademoiselle from Chanel Rouge Coco is so calling to me! – RedLusciousLips
  • Do the Neutrogena Wave! Sure looks like fun – Lipglosseater
  • This girl gives a new meaning to “pink eye” 😛 – SkinDeco
  • Someone who thinks Crabtree & Evelyn’s Citron Honey & Coriander hand therapy is da bomb! – Soloverly
  • I don’t think I’d ever get my scalp or hair checked out but Pretty Beautiful did! – PrettyBeautiful

I know the Great Singapore Sale is now on in Singapore (duh!) and I’ll be there next week to get my share of the bargains (I hope) but here in Malaysia, sales are hotting up too!

Here are a couple of deals I came across for this weekend.

  • Kiehl’s stores – Save RM10 with a minimum of RM100 purchase up to 20 June 2010
  • BodyBar – clearance sale up to 70% at their Tropicana City Mall outlet
  • Isetan – 4 day anniversary sale to 31 May with up to additional 20% off
  • Coach – Spring/Summer clearance is on in Coach stores

If you are travelling, do travel safe! If you are in Singapore, do share your tips on where I can go to get good deals during the sale (well other than trawling Orchard Rd. of course 😉 )

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

    Hey there,

if you like casual trendy clothes, Bugis Junction is great.

There’s a small fashion chain called LVER. The designs are unique, chic and its somewhat Japanese influenced. What attracted me there is the bossa nova music played in the shop!

Not sure if you like it. No harm checking it out if you happen to be at Bugis Junction, Vivo City (Harbour Front station) or ION Orchard.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll be sure to check this out. I know I’m definitely checking out Uniqlo – I’m quite addicted ever since Japan 😛

    Hi ParisB,

I’m a fan of yours and this is the first time I’m leaving a comment! 🙂 Please visit this website: http://www.greatsingaporesale.com.sg/2010m/english-html/home.html for all details on where to shop!

Personally I like to roam around bugis junction for great offers other than Orchard Road.. It’s not that crowded plus you’ll be more likely to buy things that you never know you will! Oh! uniqlo is a must-go for me too!

    Have a great time shopping!

P.S. I have my eye on most items that you reviewed and I’m always trying to control myself on those that actually suits me! And that’s particularly hard! :p

So sad that I gotta pass this Great Singapore sales 🙁 Just got back from Singapore last monday and had fever coz it was so hot! Do make sure that you have plenty of water and sunscreen!

You must check out the Casino by Las Vegas. It’s truly a wonder! It’s a ship on top of 3 buildings omg? I wonder how it got up there? Didn’t had time to actually visit but my bf’s sister drove us pass it at least we get a glimpse though… Sadness.

Too many places too little time!!!
