Here’s something I’ve been wanting to tell you about for the longest time. Each time, I keep forgetting. Well, not anymore! I’ve been wanting to tell you about the Maybelline Angelfit Double Perfector that I picked up from Bangkok a year ago.
The Maybelline Double Perfector is part of the Angelfit range which I believe is Asia only. I could be wrong though. What it is is a dual ended concealer and highlighter or brightener.
The lightest shade available in the store was 02 Medium so I picked that up. The concealer end is a little more yellow than I’m used to but it can be easily blended. It is a sponge tip end and the texture is a little bit thick.
The brightener end is a pink highlighter to brighten the under eye area so you look more awake. The applicator is a brush and the texture is thinner with no shimmer.
To be honest, I’m not sure how best to use the Angelfit Double Perfector. I’ve tried it in multiple ways:-
- Highlighter over concealer
- Concealer over highlighter
- Concealer mixed with highlighter
The quickest and most effective way to use the Double Perfector for me is to alternate the concealer and brightener as I show you below.
As you can see, I dab the concealer on the under eye area, then dab the brightener in between. Pat lightly to blend and conceal and I’m done.
I sometimes use the brightener on its own if all I want is a touch of highlight but I always use the brightener with the concealer because I find the concealer a little bit thick and a little dark for me.
The Maybelline Angelfit Double Perfector is a dinky little tool that is easily toted around and works well for me.
Too bad its not available in Malaysia at this time. Yep you saw it right. We don’t get this one here. I wonder why. In fact I did a quick google search and this item seems to be exclusive to Thailand! But do correct me if I’m wrong.
I can’t remember how much I purchased this one for. Possibly for the equivalent of RM30 or thereabouts. If you go to Thailand, look for this in Watson’s or Boots pharmacies. It comes in 3 shades I believe.
Pros: Inexpensive, conceals undereye dark circles well, brightener works well as a highlighting tool
Cons: Not available in Malaysia, Concealer is a little thick, 02 Medium is a bit yellow
Have you come across this item and if you have, have you tried it? I was quite surprised to find that it works well for me and I’m quite fussy about my undereye concealers. It lasts if I dust some loose powder over it. But by the end of the day if I’m headed elsewhere a little bit of touch up might be in order.

Try Revlon Spa concealer. It works great too! Review will come as soon as I can remember to write about it 😛
I so want this! why don’t they bring good things into m’sia. we don’t have so many brands that s’pore have and items tat other country has.sob….maybe when u go to bangkok again u can stock up n sell it to us…lol…
On the contrary I think we do get lots of good stuff here – sometimes we just have to look a little harder. Not even Singapore has this one which is saying a lot I guess. I find that Thailand has a better product range than here or Singapore but we aren’t doing too badly. I have no plans to go to Bangkok at this time, but perhaps you could remember to let friends or family know just in case they go.
Hmmm, though the Angelfit range is here, I’ve never seen this as well. I only have the Maybelline normal concealer. I love these brightener stuff. I think they work to fill up the fine lines too, so that concealer would set in.
I looked hard in Singapore but nope. We get the Angelfit range here too. But there are some items in the range we don’t get. Even looking on google about this item turned up mostly Thai sites!
you can find angelfit products in Hawaii but I don’t think I saw this on my trip there…but to be fair, I was only looking for mascaras (which were on the top shelf)

I’ve seen Angelfit concealer locally but not with the brightener. I have kinda given up on concealers in general because I can’t seem to get them to work under my eyes. They tend to look dry and cakey although applied with a very light hand… sob sob… Thankfully, the liquid foundations I’ve been using do cover up most of the dark undereye circles.
Aww… maybe you don’t need it 😉 Or maybe they are too thick for your under eye area. I like those that are light in texture. I don’t mind if they don’t cover all dark circles fully so long as it makes me look human 😉

That looks a lot like the Maybelline Concealer/Highlighter Pen that we have here in the USA. They’re probably the same product, marketed to different countries. The packaging isn’t the same, but very similar, and the images you have of the product itself looks right. I know that doesn’t really help much, but some stores from the UK or US might ship there with a total (item + shipping) that’s cheaper than from Singapore. (Don’t really know Singapore -> Malaysia prices that well, though, so I could be way off).

i’ve seen the Angelfit powder foundation in Mustafa in Singapore. i think there were other Angelfit items, too. and just last week, here in Manila, i saw the powder in Watson’s, Mall of Asia.
