I’m not quite into that whole Valentine’s Day thing but here’s a quick round up of gift ideas and some new fragrance releases from various brands that you might be interested in if you enjoy fragrances.
Gift Ideas for Her and new Fragrances
Rarely do you go wrong with fragrances for a lady – unless she’s severely allergic to alcohol then you might want to be careful 😛 Here are a couple of new fragrances in the market you could get her. Or just a couple of new fragrances to take note of.
Dior releases the Dior Addict 2 Eau Fraiche (RM208/50ml) which has a young scent, having the top notes of pink grapefruit and a center of roses and raspberries. Promises to be pretty!
Nina Ricci introduces the Ricci Ricci fragrance (RM250/50ml) in a very unique looking bottle with a bow as part of its design. Its a day perfume that starts out smelling fresh with hints of bergamot and before mellowing down to rose and patchouli. I’d check this out coz it sounds and looks pretty.
Giorgio Armani has the Armani Idole gift set that comes with a body lotion and shower gel. Scents of turkish roses abound in this scent and gift sets always make it worth getting.
Not quite new, but don’t forget Lancome Magnifique for which you redeemed your sample to try. I love how the red bottle looks on my dresser. Red is seriously my colour – plus it also matches the auspicious redness that the Chinese Lunar New Year brings 😛
Men however are hard to buy for as I’m sure many of you will agree!
Gift Ideas for Him
Men are notoriously hard to buy gifts for but if they use fragrances then your job is half done. This year, if you purchase any fragrance from Polo Ralph Lauren or Armani they are gifting a miniature bike collectible. Very cute!
Or how about starting your man on a proper skincare regime, with Lancome for Men. One thing men tend to ignore is sunscreen so get him the Lancome Men UV Perfect Neuroshield sunscreen set for RM160 (RM274 value) which comes with deluxe samples of moisturizers and eye care.

LOL! Girls should like wear men’s perfume since they like the smell of it, and guys should wear girls perfume since THEY like the smell of it! that way! They can smell it everyday!!

good point. gives them a reason to compliment saying “you smell gooooooooood” and sniff the other person too. 😛
Oh right! I forgot my sense of smell is as good as my sense in colour differentiation (peach=fruit, not colour) XD
