New: Vichy LiftActiv CxP Antiaging Anti-Wrinkle Skincare

Something new from Vichy Laboratoires this way cometh. Well new for us here in Malaysia anyway 🙂

Vichy is introducing a new line of anti-aging skincare called LiftActiv CxP starting January 2010. The target audience is women of 40 years and up and this line of products is meant to firm up skin and reduce wrinkles while hydrating the skin with Vichy’s signature thermal spring water.

One of the key ingredients is Vitamin C which is slow released over a 24 hour period to stimulate collagen production. However, because vitamin C is rather unstable and oxidises easily, I’m not quite sure how effective it is as an ingredient. However, combined with the other ingredients, it does make the skin feel quite nice and smooth.

There are 3 products in the line – LiftActiv CxP day cream, night cream and eye cream. From a preliminary feel, the LiftActiv CxP creams feel good on the skin.

Both the day cream and night cream feel light. The texture is quite similar to the Bi-White Reveal cream if you have tried that one – soft and velvety smooth. The night cream is a little thicker but still feels nice. I have only just started using this one so we’ll see how it goes – I’m not yet 40 but I do have some lines and we will soon see if they get smoothened out 🙂 I’m also using my mum as a guinea pig so I’ll report on how it works on older skin 😀

What I’m really more interested in is the eye cream. Late nights, bad nights and just general malaise has given me tired looking eyes so I’m wondering if the LiftActiv CxP Anti Wrinkle Eye lifting cream will help me. I’ll let you know how it goes 🙂

The Vichy LiftActiv CxP Day and Night Creams retail at RM149 for 50ml tubs and the LiftActiv CxP Eye Care is RM130 for 15ml. Look out for this line at major pharmacies 🙂

Whilst new to Malaysia, the Vichy LiftActiv CxP line is not new internationally. If you have already tried products from this line which have been available in Europe and the USA since last year, do feel free to let us know what you think of it.

What I heard from the SA in Sg Guardian is that the UV Activ one wld be phased out soon. The new one is SPF 40 only. But I think thats ok.

I like that the combi skin one has zinc oxide in it to reduce sebum. But due to a dry spell on my skin, I bought the normal to dry one. I have the dior snow one with loads of zinc oxide in it to reduce sebum and combat shine.

hmm… the old one is SPF40 too but since zinc oxide and I don’t play well I wonder how I’d like it – thanks for sharing the news anyway. I’ll try to find out more about this 😀

An “I’ll be out all day and need my makeup to An “I’ll be out all day and need my makeup to stay on” look 😅 Super simple and using stuff I already own. How many do you recognise? 😅

For the base I think the key is the Nars setting powder which is basically a silica powder. Many brands have similar white powder for setting. I did this same look yesterday and it barely budged/faded by evening. Only lipstick needed a little topping up 😊

And this is about all the makeup I can handle these days 😂 no eye makeup cos I can’t be arsed 🤪

Excellent good fun! 😆 Your eyes always want more than your stomach can handle. Ate a lot and bought even more food back home. Diet? What diet? 😂

Posting for posterity because I like this photo 😆 Also hello! 😜

It’s interesting that when I meet people they always ask me “Are you still blogging?” which tells me they don’t read my blog anymore (cos if they did they’d know I am lol! Weekly generally, but still writing) Yet I don’t blame them because a lot of social credit is placed on one’s Instagram presence. This I fear, is an area I am lacking. I pop in every now and then, share stories that are totally unrelated to what people follow me for, then wonder why they unfollow lol! Other times, spider webs gather in the corners of my unused account. I don’t blame them. Not everyone wants to know what my dogs are up to 😜

Anyway I make no apologies. It’s ok if you follow. It’s ok if you don’t. It’s ok if you’re interested in stuff I do. It’s ok if you’re not. Life goes on for both you and I and ultimately, we just both want it to be happy. So do what makes you happy 😊 I’ll still share my beauty finds and I still blog once a week. I may share what I’m up to from time to time, or I may not. I can tell you that I’m keeping busy and that I have a lot on my plate, none of it glamorous unlike that of most content creators/influencers. It’s too boring for most for me to share here so I’ll just share the good bits - as Instagram intended 😂

But if you want to find me, you’ll know how 😊

The review for the product is somewhere on the blog mywomenstuff.com
Yes I know many of you are terrified of lizards 🦎🫣

But I liked this sunscreen - for the body. Even though it left a white cast. Even though it is hard to remove. It kept my arms protected through a weekend of brutal sun exposure and I survived without burning! ✌🏻
