Hello 2010 – Made any resolutions lately?

January 1, 2010 Paris B 14 Comments

2010

Its a bright new day and a brand new year – 2010!

I’m sitting here nursing my coffee and contemplating the coming year with a touch of excitement. I wonder what 2010 will bring?

Did you realize that we’re entering a brand new decade of the noughties! I’m seeing a lot of 80’s throwbacks in terms of fashion and I’m hoping it doesn’t catch on. That said, I’m actually looking forward to 2010 – I’m not sure what it’ll bring but if I get lemons, I’ll serve up lemonade! So drink up! 😀

I’m not one for resolutions – I make them sometimes knowing I’m going to break them anyway but still, when everyone’s doing it, you just gotta get with it too!

So here are 2 resolutions I’ve made (and I would likely break at least 1 before the week is out 😛 )

  • Get thee to a pool! I need to get off these holiday pounds before Chinese New Year comes around and I pile on more!
  • Get my moneys worth from my passport. This one I likely won’t break 😀 My passport is up for renewal this year so I plan to make it work harder for me. I do want to see more places in 2010 (I’m working really hard on 2 of them) and when I do, I’ll share my travel stories with you too!

Over to you. What are 3 things you hope to achieve in 2010?

Come share! I’m all ears! 🙂 Here’s to a successful 2010 ahead for us all!

I think the biggest challenge i’m giving myself this year is to control my spending on makeup. It’s really getting out of hand! =X

Cheers to the new year. I’m sure we’ll ride it out, come what may!! hehehe!! 😀 Happy New Year!! 😀

I’m not one for resolutions either. More often than not, the more I make, the more I break! 😛

But I am determined to exercise more to stay fit and healthy. Let’s see how that pans out, eh? 😉
