The Randomness of Facebook, Warehouse sales, Olay body wash and Hada Labo!

Alliance Cosmetics Warehouse Sale

I’ve had some queries in comments about the warehouse sale for Avene thermal spray which incidentally includes Stage Cosmetics and Revlon products. Well, you might be interested to know that I’d put up the sale information in the  My Women Stuff Facebook Fan Page on Monday, complete with map to the location, so that if you were interested, you had plenty of time to plan your shopping trip 🙂

For the benefit of those who might have missed this turn of events, I explained previously that I don’t have time to update the blog everyday with news on sales (plus this isn’t quite a shopping blog) so my Facebook and Twitter profile is really your best bet for sales I come across. I update those most often with news on sales and deals, sometimes at the sale itself! So join me there if you don’t want to feel too left out and want to grab a bargain!

If you’d still like to grab some bargains, the Alliance Cosmetics warehouse sale is still on till this Sunday at Glenmarie. Map is on the Facebook page so click over there and print it out 🙂 Avene sprays retail at RM30 for the 300ml one (no more RM5/50ml ones) and good buys are Stage Wonderglosses at RM25, Brush Cleaners at RM10, Stage nail polish at RM10 and miscellaneous Revlon, Silkygirl, Elancyl and Avene products starting from RM2 – yes you saw right.

My damage was Stage Wondergloss in Persephone (RM25), Stage Brush Cleaner (RM10) and Revlon Age Defying 2way foundation refill pan (RM2) – mere RM37 score for 3 items! Check out Beetrice’s post for some indication of prices.

I’d also tell you about the Sasa Warehouse sale, but I’d already posted it on Twitter and Facebook and warned that I thought it was a waste of time. Ditto the Giordano warehouse sale.

Olay Total Effects Body Wash

While I was at Guardian, I picked up the new Olay Total Effects body wash for about RM20. I’d seen the ads on tv and I was interested to see how creamy it would feel on my skin thats been feeling and looking dry and scaly. Will report soon! 🙂

Revlon Nail Polish – Buy 1 Get 1 Free

Also, if you haven’t already discovered, Revlon nail polishes are Buy 1 Get 1 Free (or BIFI) at Guardian pharmacies. Get Red Hot Tamale – its perfect for the holidays and for sexy toes!

Clinique tote and Hada Labo

clinique_hadalabo

Finally, after an exhausting Friday, I received as a surprise gift an adorable tote by Khoon Hooi for Clinique which I found so freaking adorable! And because all the hype over Hada Labo is driving my search results nuts, I’ll be telling how you how I like the Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Lotion (available at Guardian pharmacy)! Let’s see if it’ll give my skin that “toing toing” feel as you see in the video 😀

We’ll come back with more Best of 2009 beauty on Monday!

Happy weekend!

      Hi Germaine

Yep Persephone is a color I”d been eyeing in store. Made sense to get it on sale. I thought the Stage deals were pretty good for a wh sale but that’s about all I got

Hi, I just got my first Hada Labo flotion from Guardian Mid Valley. It feels great on my skin on the first try. It also reminds me of the RMK skintuner which is both toner and moisturizer.

I had difficulty in looking for this bottle as it’s not located with the rest of the skincare…. and finally I found it in a little stand in front of the store. There’s a salesgirl maning it.

I hauled more than RM175, I got something from each brand. I think my best find from the Alliance Cosmetics warehouse sales is a RM5 blue duo eyeshadow from silkygirl, even my dad thought I was going somewhere when I tested it out yesterday!
