MWS Christmas Gift Guide & Best of 2009: The eyes have it

If eyes be the windows to the soul then enhance your peepers with my personal favourites from 2009.

Best Eye Makeup products of 2009

I love how in 2009 L’Oreal and Maybelline came up with affordable gel eyeliners that work so well for the price. Throw in the Bloop de Paris gel liner and, I’m thisclose to not considering anymore high end gel liners!

Also a drugstore and budget favourite eyeshadow palette is the Beautilicious Alyssa palette and the Maybelline Diamond Glow palette.

For gift giving purposes and for a touch of luxury, the Dior Artistry eyeshadow palettes are fab when paired with the Diorshow Iconic mascara. Or pick up Stage Gossip eyeshadow palette which looks to be a fair enough dupe for Dior’s Jazz Club palette! 😉

And just squeezing in by a whisker is the Maybelline Long Extreme Double Stretch mascara which just made the cut to be my fave everyday mascara that washes out a treat!

I just realized that I had placed less emphasis on the eyes in 2009 compared to the lips. We have to remedy that in 2010 don’t we? 🙂

What are your favourite eye products for 2009?

Stay beautiful

I really liked the Beautilicious Victoria palette but it’s so hard to get hold of! They were out of stock in MV, unavailable in KLCC… *groans*

I have ENOUGH gel liners that I can’t be buying any more but at least we know there are cheaper alternatives out there that work 😀

Fiberwig mascara, which I just discovered this year. After I finish that, I’ll give the Maybelline one a spin.

    Love the Dior Iconic mascara!
And for eyeliner, the Maybelline and L’Oreal gel-liner are still unavailable in Jakarta, so I stick to MAC Fluidline 🙂

    My favourite:
    Maybelline Volum Express Cats Eye
    Benefit kohl pencil in stainless
Rimmel Extreme Definition 2-tone eye definer in Pink Princess (the pink tip is definitely a dupe for Benefit Eye Bright!)
    SilkyGirl Funky Eyelights pencil

Just realised I have not been wearing much eyeshadows this year. I should and will in 2010!
