MWS Christmas Gift Guide & Best of 2009: Spare no blushes!

Blush is my favourite makeup item and 2009 saw some gems that make excellent gifts too! Some however aren’t around anymore which is a bummer, unless you can still get them at the counters.

The Revlon Matte blush is a great drugstore find as is the Maybelline Angelfit line of blushes. Excellent inexpensive stocking stuffers that actually work well and for which your friends might just thank you for them!

Benefit threw up a winner in Coralista which is an amazing blush that could suit most people. This applies too to the Dior Bronze Harmonie Rose Brazilia blush/bronzer that came out in Summer – if you can still find it, get it!

I haven’t reviewed it but the Lancome Blush Subtil powder blushes are pretty good too. I’ve been using the ones I have but forgot to tell you about them haha!

If you want to add that touch of highlight to your skin, MAC Porcelain Pink mineralize skin finish and Dior Shimmer Powder Rose Diamond are must haves! In fact, Rose Diamond is something I use every time I have makeup on. Its become a staple for me. 🙂

What’s your favourite blush, bronzer or highlighter of 2009?

Stay beautiful,

Paris B

I’m currently loving my Superdupernatural mineralize blush from MAC… i have to fight the temptation to reach for it everytime i put on makeup lest i neglect my other blushes! lol!! 😀

But my to-go blush for this year is the NARS Deep Throat blush!! It’s a failproof one for me!! 😀

Paris, you’re spot on with Revlon Matte and Lancome Blush Subtil – they’re amazing, aren’t they! I also love Laura Mercier’s powder blusher, M.A.C’s Mineralize Skin Finish and Guerlain’s Russian Doll Radiant Blush. Ooh, and Estee Lauder’s Signature Creme blush!

don’t get me started on blushes… If I pick one I might feel guilty that I’m being biased towards my other blushes.
Can’t stop snickering at the fact that you got MAC. AND it made it to this post! 😀

Normally, all blusher works the same..just don’t always touch your cheeks once u put the blush on!

    Ooooh. BLUSH! =P

When it comes to pink blushers, I gotta give it to theBalm’s Down Boy. I think it’s been a real winner this year. Kahani says I’m evangelising it. =P

As for corals or peaches, hmm…. let me think about it a little while more. *tee hee*
