The Importance of being Random

October 10, 2009 Paris B 16 Comments

random

I haven’t had much time to scour the internet and print news for deals so I’m going to do a random sort of post this Saturday, making some random observations.

My stats counter threw up a very interesting search item just yesterday – “Can you use the vibrating mascara as a sex toy?” I’m afraid my coffee nearly went through my nose when I saw that. My answer will be “Clean the brush first, darling if you value your sheets!” 😛

Benefit Cosmetics has some really great looking gift sets for Holiday 2009 and Karen has featured some of them. I’m really feeling that Celebutante Set as well as the Powderazzi palette even if I already own Coralista.

Why do people persist in calling it Holiday Collections? Lets face it – beauty collections are released for the Christmas shopping period so lets stop being PC and start calling it Christmas again.

I just found out that new lingerie shopping site Lace Petals is run by a friend! What a small world indeed. I am placing an order soon so I’ll update when the time comes 🙂

In addition to the Open Eyes eyeshadow palette,  L’Oreal has a new Gel Eyeliner too! I’ve been wearing it in Brown – gives Bobbi Brown a run for their money, it does! Wait up for my review coming soon… hopefully…

idi-launch

Finally, if you’re in 1 Utama this Sunday 11 Oct 2009 11-2pm, you might be able to check out a new skincare brand known as IDI Italy 1858. Its new at Guardian pharmacy for now and is a cosmoceutical brand created in collaboration between a Malaysian company and the IDI Institute in Italy. Everything’s researched, created and manufactured in Italy and Malaysia is the first country in the world to get the brand since their HQ is right here in KL 😀 Interesting!

Have a lovely weekend!

Okay, NOT that I’ve tried *ahem*, but methinks a vibrating mascara would be rather pathetic to be used as an adult toy. Plus I think it would be cheaper to buy the *ahem* actual toy *ahem* 😛

PS: Or, if you already have one, an electric toothbrush instead? HAHAHAHA!

      Hi Jenn

Mine’s in brown so I couldn’t quite compare to the black Maybelline one I had. I’ll try to post something up next week 🙂
