I had a fun birthday this year with a surprise birthday party coordinated by my scheming sister and a lovely bunch of friends who very prettily feigned ignorance of everything that was happening. Even up till the day before, I had innocent queries of “So, what have you got planned for the weekend?” – sneaky!
I won’t call them “blogger friends” anymore – I think we’re past being friends because of blogging but are now friends because we all get along like a house on fire! 🙂 Try explaining otherwise how a bunch of girls can sit around chatting non stop from 11am-4pm about everything under the sun, and not notice the time fly by! 😀
So, thank you girls for a wonderful morning, afternoon and evening and for the surprise party and your lovely thoughtful gifts! Thanks too to everyone who dropped by to wish me happy birthday on my blog and on Twitter – I’m touched! 🙂
