Previous Celebrate October may expect a little delay in receiving your prizes. The car window was smashed last night and the thieves ran away with your makeup packages! I recovered 2 out of 3 but I’d need a little time to get things back on track. Apologies for that!
Now onto happier things. I bet you were wondering when the next October giveaway would be! Well, here it is – Kiehl’s Rare Earth skincare products!
1 winner will win:-
- 1 full size Kiehl’s Rare Earth Pore Refining Toner
- 1 travel size Kiehl’s Rare Earth Pore Minimizing Lotion
- 2 sachet samples of the Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser
Here’s what you have to do… after the jump!
All you have to do to win is tell us in a comment:-
Why should you go camping? or What do you enjoy about camping?
And if you’re wondering why this is the question, here’s the answer Haha! Not technically sponsored by Kiehl’s though I must thank them for the products so here’s a nod to them.
This will be a short one so you just have 48 hours from now to submit your entries. Only for those with a Malaysian mailing address and deadline is 12 noon 16 October 2009.
Celebrate October winners are excluded.
Go!

Cuz its just feels special and somewhat gleeful about snucking into a tiny propped up tent surrounded by nature.

Camping teaches us about the simplicity in life and how much has changed in the city. We know what nature is really like and understand what we have missed or done to the environment

Thieves are getting so evil these days, they’ll still anything of value! >.<
I should go camping because my skin's turning yellow from lack of sunshine – holing up in uni during the daytime studying. Does camping in my garden count? XD I'm chanelling thoughts of this particular Campbell's Soup ad where two adorable kids camp in their backyard and their mom brings them warm soup in the middle of the night…. bliss! =D

I should really go camping because the last time was way back in standard 6! Now its not that i hate camping but i have no one to go with! Everyone seems to worry too much about mosquitoes and bugs and forget how wonderful it is communing with nature without the bloody hand phone beeping every 5 minutes.
It makes you realize there is so much more to life than work and even shopping!

I won’t say that I LOVE camping, but so far those that I’ve went to has been great 🙂 One of it that I rmb the most is back when I was still in school and at midnight we are called to hike up the hill, the process was terrible but when we reach the top, everyone was speechless, it was the most magnificent view we cudn’t believe there’s soooo many stars in Malaysia!haha.I would say I should go camping cause it’ll really revive me,regardless of how many days, I wud kinda lose track of day n night and just spent the days carefree and happy 🙂

Camping reminds me of singing with a guitar by bonfires and sharing ghost stories together which brings everyone closer. Hearing sounds that we never get to hear while living in the city makes us one step closer to nature. New friendships made and the old ones rekindled, camping is definitely something everyone should experience at least once in a lifetime.

Going camping is definitely different from staying in a hotel. We should go to camping because its the best way to indulge yourself in the nature, to breathe in cool, fresh air, to look at the stars and moon, and listen to the bugs singing. I love it. I love going camping with a bunch of close friends, where we can cook or prepare food together, chat and laugh under the moon light, no TV no laptop no traffic, an escape from all the city life and hassle. Camping is something that everybody should try.

Ahh! This is something I’ve been wanting to try! I have HUGE pores…
Why should I go camping? Well, WHY NOT? Considering I just came back from the great outdoors… It’s back to basics… No TV, no handphones, and no internet! You get to exercise and enjoy nature at its best! You also get to breathe in FRESH and CLEAN air. Camping with friends is really REALLY fun. You get to see a side of your friends that you have never seen before. Getting kicked out from your comfort zone (for city ppl) never felt so good!
FYI, Malaysia is part of the Indo-West Pacific Biodiversity Triangle. It is very very rich in species diversity.

its the whole experience of being out in the wild without electricity, plumbing, and the likes. sorta makes u wonder how life was decades and centuries ago for our forefathers. And makes you thankful for their contributions and what civilization n technology has provided us today.

I should go camping because it reminds me of my Girl Guide days many many years ago. It was so fun because we get to cook outside and the food seemed to me more delicious than usual. even the eggs tasted better!

But anyway, the most unforgettable thing happened during one of my campings was i almost had vege with worm. yiak~ although it was so disgusting, Yet my friends and I had a laugh afterwards.

The only thing I enjoy about camping is the fresh air that we can’t get in the city. If there aren’t that much of mosquitoes, bugs, leeches or any other forms of insects in the forest, I guess I’ll go camping more often! 😛

Camping is great as it is a one in a million opportunity to break free from the hustle and bustle of city life. It gives our lungs a much needed break from breathing in pollutants-infested air. We humans tend to take things for granted and thus camping can really help us learn the ways to live with scarcities.
Well, the first and foremost thing i enjoyed about camping is definitely none other than the chance to bond with members of the camping trip especially if it is with family. The activities carried out ; be it erecting a camp, building campfire or even cooking requires a great deal of co-operation and teamwork.Lastly, I love camping because there’s no other vacations that can make me exercise and sweat all the time.

Camping might be a hobby on the brink of extinction here in Malaysia for young adults especially since everyone is too busy with their priorities in life that weekends are usually spent at home resting or at the mall catching the latest movie.
I think I should breakaway from that and start camping more often as it would definitely heighten my senses visually as well as from the sounds and touch of nature I seem to have forgotten. Its amazing how just tuning into nature can exude such tranquility and appreciation for God’s creation.
Aside from that, camping brings out the survival skills in me as I would have to pitch my own tent, look for wood to start a fire for warmth and to cook food, and test those Bear Grill tips I’ve been watching on Discovery.
I think the best of all, is that camping involves a group of people, thus it would be great to strengthen existing bonds, or work on new ones. This in turn promotes harmony, tolerance and teamwork amongst friends.
Hopefully, this display of skills acquired by just camping will kickstart a camping trend which will benefit both humankind and nature.
Thanks for reading!:)
*btw hope you recover from what happened and stay safe*

I don’t really like camping, but when I do, I love lying under the wide open starry night sky. It’s beautiful and amazing!

Camping is a good way for us to get closer with mother nature….and of course away from the stressful, chaotic and fast-paced life in the city. By breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the scenery surrounding you itself will help you unwind and ‘feel’ a lot healthier.

You could enjoy the wild outdoors and the wonders of Mother Nature. Your stress level decreases and you get to relax (until it’s time to go home!). Camping is also a way to spend some quality time with friends and family.
What I just love about camping is sleeping outdoors in a sleeping bag looking up at the stars with the sound of crickets in the background. Ah, bliss…
