Review: L’Oreal Elseve Nutri-gloss Light Caring Shampoo

September 21, 2009 Paris B 11 Comments

I had a spell of greasy scalp a while back which bugged me. I don’t usually have oily hair or a greasy scalp so I had to get a shampoo and conditioner to combat it. I wash my hair daily – its a personal preference.

loreal-shampoo

The texture of the new L’Oreal Nutri-gloss light shampoo and conditioner is.. well… light. The shampoo cleans my scalp very well. I love how almost squeaky clean it feels! Even after my greasy scalp problem mysteriously disappeared I still used the shampoo because I liked how it felt.

However, I found that I’d have to use a stronger conditioner after shampooing as the Nutri-gloss light conditioner is just too light. If you have oily hair or scalp then this combination might work for you. If you have normal or dry hair, it might feel too drying.

I gave mine away after about 2 weeks to someone with oilier hair who really likes it. I’m glad its getting some good use 🙂

How did you spend the weekend?

food

Mine has been spent eating. What’s new?! 🙂 Had a glorious seafood dinner at Pantai Seafood and the next day, took a drive up to Genting Highlands for lunch at Gohtong Jaya with the ‘rents. I couldn’t get any parking up on the hill so we came back down not too long after lunch LOL… lucky too coz it started raining not too long after.

How’s your weekend?

Stay beautiful,

Paris B

Ooo… Pantai Seafood is great but expensive… We always order that vege in the pic… haha… Have u tried geoduck before? it looks really weird but tastes ok…

I have dry hair and am currently using Ascience!! I absolutely love it! My hair feels softer and silkier! It’s even shinier… the ends still feel a bit dry though… been using the shampoo, conditioner + treatment for almost 2 weeks now…

      Hi Yuki

I rarely go to Pantai as its quite a distance from where I live but I thought the seafood was quite reasonable – the vege was way expensive though! I haven’t tried Geoduck though we saw lots! I tried Ascience too – its nice but after long term use my hair feels a bit weird …

I love this one!! It’s perfect for oily hair like mine!! But yeah, i agree that one has to compensate for the dryness by using a richer conditioner after, but its worth it! 😀

I remember when I first tried the #antipodesskinca I remember when I first tried the #antipodesskincare Aura Manuka Honey Mask. It blew my mind away! Soothes skin. Boosts hydration and just makes you feel like you have the best skin ever! Not kidding. If you have a spot or irritated skin, it calms it down and helps get rid of your spots too. Honey is anti bacterial after all, so it’s a great multitasker.
I also love the Manuka Honey Skin brightening Day Cream. It’s light but creamy and sinks into the skin. I’ve reviewed them both on the blog in the past. If you run a search for Antipodes, you’d also notice how much I love the brand! 😁
I’m super late with this but if you’re planning to purchase any of these 3 Manuka honey items from TNS Skinlab, the code MYWSTUFF10 will give you an extra 10% off (until tomorrow 31 Dec) I highly recommend grabbing the Aura mask. You’ll never want to be without (I always have a backup!)
Thanks for the gift @tnsskinlab and I must apologise for my tardiness 😩 I’ll learn to cope better from next week!
Now I have to scuttle and write my year end musings. Some traditions must be kept! 😜
Tell me your fave Antipdoes skincare product!

It’s my first year doing retail and honestly, I’d never been so busy! The year-end rush is unreal! But busy is good, right? At least that’s what I tell myself 😂
While I pack up gift boxes of treats for doggies 🐶 (I’ve tied so many ribbons I’ve finally started to get it right!) #loccitanemalaysia makes it easy to shop for humans 😅 at experienceloccitane.com with their L’Occitane en Demande service. Place your order, and pick up in store or have it delivered.
Had a bit of breather today and put together a little video. Blink and miss my little monster 🐶 helping me shop! Not sponsored but I did receive a gift from L’Occitane, for which my sun-exposed, dry dog-walking skin thanks you!
Haven’t done any Christmas shopping this year. It has only just struck me that it’s but mere days away! 😨 Have you done yours?
