Day 5 : Maybelline 3D Collagen Watershine – #304

June 5, 2009 Paris B 5 Comments

Day 5 of the 30 lipsticks in 30 days Project is a budget pick with Maybelline 3D Collagen Water Shine lipstick in #304. Note the continuation of the red lippie theme 🙂

Maybelline 3D Collagen Water Shine lipstick – #304

Maybelline Water Shine 3D Collagen lipstick #304

Maybelline Collagen Water Shine lipsticks have been around for a year now, and they are the best way to introduce yourself to red or bright lipstick because the texture is light and the colour is sheer so you can get used to having a red lip before taking it up a notch to the stronger more pigmented colours I’ve been showing you.

#304 is a bright red in the tube. On my lips, its a fairly sheered out rosy red that still looks bright but can be worn more comfortably in the day. Use just one layer if you’re uncomfortable with bright colours or layer it on for a more intense shade. It keeps my lips moisturized plus the shine factor makes it pretty eye catching. Picture shows 2 layers only.

Maybelline 3D collagen lipsticks are one of my to-go lipsticks and at RM28.90 I can afford to keep going with them! You can view a more in depth review and see some other colour swatches in a previous review.

Day 6 will start off an Asian lipstick series and will feature a Kanebo Coffret D’or Lipstick.

Stay beautiful,

Paris B

I’ve tired out this lippie a couple of times before. Sadly, the collagen, plumping parts are mere empty promises.

But it is still a really great lippie though, esp at an affordable price of rm28.90

      Hiya Hanna

Yep little plumping but I like the texture. I don’t think anything can plump the lips short of collagen shots! LOL…

      Hi a.min

LOL… no my lippies are ALL red… they do tend towards the red/rose shades as they suit me best 🙂
