Day 25 of the 30 lipsticks in 30 days project features a drugstore favourite from L’oreal Color Riche line of lipsticks.

I got this one when L’oreal launched the Star Secrets line (I think that’s what it was called). I got it not because of the line but because of the color and the name. Anything with the name “Coral” always makes me do a double take because I love coral shades!

Because many Asian skintones can handle coral shades, the star assigned to Coral Magic was our very own Dato’ Michelle Yeoh. In the tube the colour looks dark with flecks of golden shimmer.

On the lips, it sheers out a lot and shimmer disappears. At the time, I was upset. I liked shimmer! Now, I’m happy with it – perhaps its a sign of growing up?! 😛

The tone is coral with red notes. Its pretty sheer – picture shows 2 swipes. I can build this up more but for now, this is good for a day look. I’m not sure if Coral Magic is available on its own or whether it was limited edition as part of the Star Secrets line which I believe has been discontinued. I did dislike the packaging – could have been packaged better, is my point of view.

Still, its a decent lipstick and a nice color that works for me and surprise surprise! My only L’oreal lipstick! :O
