Win a set of Lumiere Brushes or a Kabuki Brush!

May 13, 2009 Paris B

Do we remember my little review of the new Lumiere Cosmetics makeup brushes? Were you chaffing at the bit to get at them?

Well, 2 very lucky readers could win themselves either the Kabuki brush or the 9 piece brush set! Loving Minerals has generously sponsored these 2 lovely brushes/sets so here’s what you have to do to win.

[note]

Tell us one brush that you currently need and what you look for in a makeup brush.

e.g. I need a fluffy blush brush because my MAC129SE is scratching me silly and I look for softness and precise application.

Update: Please read the full requirements or risk disqualification.

[/note]

The contest runs until 21 May 2009 (12 noon) and is only open to readers in Malaysia and Singapore. Winners of the 2nd Anniversary Giveaway and the Mother’s Day Giveaway are excluded. Winners will be drawn by lucky draw and first name out of the hat gets the 9 piece brush set, and the 2nd name out of the hat gets the kabuki brush.

If you win and I see your email address in the email subscription list, I’ll throw in a couple of extra freebies for you when I send the prize! 😉

All clear? Go comment!

Good luck!

I don’t need just one brush, but all brushes! I don’t own any brushes yet (still using my fingers or sponge. =( ) but if I have to choose just one brush, I’ll say I’ll need a blush brush, so I can use it as a powder brush too.

I need a liquid foundation brush because I find it nicer to apply foundie with such than sponge. I love fluffy and soft hairs on my makeup brushes. 🙂 Thank you.

I need short handle powder brush, the one I have is in full size, I can’t travel with that giant.. lol
I am looking for brushes with soft bristles so that they won’t irritate my skin

I need a 9 piece brush set because I’ve recently fallen in love with makeup and think these tools are a MUST have for precision and flawless application. I prefer soft bristles so it won’t break this acne prone skin out!

I need a whole set of blusher because as a broke student, I have a very tight budget when it comes to make-up T_T..and Lumiere brushes are sooooo soft and fluffy!!just perfect for me~~

i need all brushes actually, but as u give me only one choice, it would be a foundation brush as i believe perfect makeup requires perfect base so hopefully a good foundation brush can help me to achieve that.

I actually do need a fluffy mini eye buki (crease) brush! O.o… because my stage blender brush has actually been scratching me silly and after I spent all that money too. Only to be tormented afterwards by my friends by such a hasty buy! And I am actually looking for softness and precise application in a brush…now. O.o…

I need eye shadow brushes because I only have one currently (nopes, I don’t know what its called) and it doesn’t help my quest to be good at making my eyes look pretty. I can’t blend and all that 🙁

What i really need is an all over face powder brush.

I think a kabuki would be lovely for the job. Since it can be used for all kinds of face powder applications. Also, i can go anywhere with just this one brush and not worry about anything else 🙂

    woot woot..
that one brush i want is the Skunk brush bcoz my face needs airbrushing badly.blueh.but seriously the one i neeeeedd is the kabuki brush. fot he love of god i cant seem to use powder my face rite wit anything!

  18. Amanda says

I need a kabuki brush because I only own a free brush set that is scratchy on my skin and when I apply powder with my powder brush, it picks up too much powder which winds up dusting off more than spreading out on my face.

Being a full-time student who supports herself with minimal income, limits the frivolous spending on luscious make-up items that I yearn to own.

I’m looking for make-up brushes that are full and soft, yet stiff enough to pick up enough powder for application. It doesn’t hurt if it looks pretty too. 🙂

I need a soft synthetic blush brush because I have not own one before as my current blush brush is made of natural hair and has started to deteriorate. I look for softness and easy application for all makeup brushes.

21st May which happens to be this contest closing day is MY BIRTHDAY! What a coincident and I am hoping to be the lucky winner of the brush set.
