Spring-ing for an Electric Blue DKNY Shopper bag

DKNY Electric Blue large shopper
  • Save

Ah I wish it were mine but its not… yet… I think 😛

I spotted the DKNY large shopper bag in Electric Blue in the display at the entrance to The Gardens so when I could, I popped into the DKNY store to check it out in person. Its a deeper brighter blue than what you see in the picture above and there are 3 different designs using this color. The Medium – Large shopper was the one that really caught my eye – I’m one for medium to large bags because I carry a ton of stuff.

I’ve never owned anything by DKNY nor have I ever been keen, but this one’s really calling me – or maybe the colour is. The fire engine red one is also lovely but it doesn’t tempt me as much. The bag is a soft supple leather with fabric lining (I’m not for the lining because it feels flimsy) but unlike many leather bags, this one does not weigh a ton which is good for me because I already carry a ton of stuff around with me!

There is no zip to the main compartment but that’s never stopped me before. The 4 figure price tag (RM1300+) does make me pause though heh… Perhaps it’ll go on sale… perhaps not. Besides I don’t own an electric blue bag yet 😉

Do you like carrying coloured bags? I love them and own a few striking colours. In fact, I like colours so much,  I only have 1 bag in black! How about you?

Stay beautiful,

Paris B

      Hey Vonvon

To be honest, the pricetag isn’t putting me off – just making me think a few times more before I whip out the plastic 😉

the electric blue looks really nice. hmmmm but if i were to get one, i would prob get the red one. coz…*cough cough*

but i doubt i will have the dilemma of choosing the colors, since 1300+ already made me take 10 steps back!

      Hi Jenn

The red is more vermillion in real life which put me off a bit and the price is also making me think a few times hehe…

      Hi Nikki

Its gorgeous isn’t it? I don’t match my bags to my outfit – I just make sure they don’t clash 😉

I have a similar blue bag from Boden (www.boden.co.uk) and I love it! I use it to lug things around on holiday and during the warmer months.

I also have a fire engine red bag (from Hidesign) and I love it too!

Also have a dirty pink bag from Mulberry, so yes, I guess I like colors!

      Hey Jamilla

You aren’t helping my resistence to this bag! Haha… Coloured bags are awesome and I’ve been looking at Mulberry but they tend to be a bit too heavy for me.

I like coloured bags a lot, but so far have only bought more expensive bags in the classic colours of black and brown! Am afraid I will lose interest too quickly! Having said that, am lovin the blue and red DKNYs you picked out!

      Hi Monstro

Most of my more expensive bags are in the more exotic colours LOL… I guess I just like my colours too much 🙂

    Hi Paris!

    Gonna go off topic here.

I’ve tried the Garnier UV sunscreen, and I must say, my face is less oily than when I used my L’Oreal UV perfect! And my face calmed down a lot [lesser spots]. Plus it’s alcohol and fragrance free… Maybe that’s why my face calmed down.

I actually wanted to try the Eucerin sunscreen, however, we don’t have it here in singapore. Actually, we do have it, but it’s not spf30. It’s spf10.

The only downside is, the Garnier sunscreen leaves a slight whitish cast on my skin like you’ve stated in your review. But it’s not obvious.

Coach’s new colours are really pretty but their designs are so meh. I’m officially so off Coach its not funny. If you get this DKNY do report – I’m still lusting after the colour 😛

I think I too only have one black bag, which is the denim Rootote. The rest are either white, cream, or red. I have way too many red bags 😛

The pup & I celebrating birthdays within weeks of The pup & I celebrating birthdays within weeks of each other 😁 Kiddo turns 4 and celebrated with specially made doggy burgers & fries.

I got him in early Jan 2020 so he’s only been with me less than 4 years but it’s been incredible to see how he’s grown (or not), and how he’s slowly mellowed with age (or not!). He’s still that crazy rambunctious puppy who terrorises other dogs, begging them to play and barking at them when they don’t. He’s a greedy fella who makes me think I’m the greatest chef in the world (in the dog world maybe!) and he still gets crazy eyes when excited.

But I’ve also found more white hair around his eyes and he sleeps in more and later now. He doesn’t even get up early enough to jump onto the bed as he used to 😔

4 years is practically adulthood in doggy years and I’m thankful that we have the opportunity to spend lots of time together even if I bemoan having to bring him everywhere I go.

Happy 4 years boy ❤️
