In my last post where I announced that I was turning 2, I mentioned a surprise that I was keeping to unveil only later. Well, my 2nd Anniversary isn’t officially until 9 March 2009 but I’m rather rushed for time then, so I decided to unveil my new surprise early. A new header logo!
I got tired of the old one – it filled the spot at a pinch when I needed it to, but it was done in haste by me with my limited graphic skills and I never felt that it was really “me”. So, I decided to go for a total makeover this year and went for something I felt was more adult yet a little quirky.
Presenting to you, the new header logo of My Women Stuff! Yes feed readers, you have to click through to see it so do come by and say hi! 🙂
The logo was designed by a good and very talented friend Clare of Monstro Designs and Ads. She wins awards ok! I looked through her profile and I liked her work because it was cheeky yet gets the message across in a subtle way that makes you think. So if you need an award winning ad designer you know where to find one! 😀
I fell in love with this variation the moment I saw the travel trunk/vanity case with “Paris” on it. She has a wonderful eye and a knack for working with what you want and need, and turning it into something visually very appealing. Also need I mention patience… because I was so fickle and kept changing my mind about things from day to day.
I wanted to do away with the tagline but my beta testers asked that it be kept in so there you have it. Same name, same tagline but different look and feel.
