Some Lavshuca Goodies

October 31, 2008 Paris B 12 Comments

Lavshuca is to Kanebo Cosmetics what Majolica Majorca is to Shiseido. Both are low end brands of the 2 Japanese cosmetics giants and found readily in drugstores of Japan and Taiwan. Majolica Majorca has dipped their toes into Malaysian waters and many of you readers have expressed such an interest in the brand, I will not be surprised if Kanebo decides to fight back by bringing in Lavshuca! One can but hope of course 😉

For now, I’ve mainly tested only the Lavshuca single eyeshadows and the Summer Gradually Palette. Between the two brands, I think Majolica Majorca wins in the princess department. But strangely enough, Majolica Majorca has never attracted me as a brand. I’m all for Lavshuca instead, even if my initial forays into the brand weren’t as good as I had expected. Still, its a brand that I keep looking into and that keeps me interested.

When my sister went to Taiwan, I latched on an order of Lavshuca products – the Lavshuca Loose Powder and Lavshuca Powder Blush.

I’d never tried either and when I read PJ’s review of the loose powder and saw how pretty the packaging was, I wanted it. The blush was because I was perverse and felt the need to try it. How can I profess to love blushes and not try one from this brand?! 😉

So, here are the latest additions to my meagre Lavshuca Collection – the Lavshuca Loose Powder in Lucent and Lavshuca Powder Blush in RD-1. Reviews will come as and when I get round to testing them. I can’t wait! Doesn’t the powder puff look so adorable?! 🙂

@Nikki : Great choices! Can’t wait to see which you pick 🙂 Guerlain’s is more of a highlighter while MUFE is a normal loose powder.

The packaging is absolutely fab! So princess-y/girlie that it’s definitely got my attention… how big is the container, btw?

I bought this on my last trip to HKG (and also aft reading PJ’s review), and it’s so pretty, I can’t bare to use the powder puff, so I decant into my old Silkygirl container…. 🙂
