What’s in my makeup pouch? Well, for someone who enjoys her makeup, I don’t carry them around with me everyday. The main reason is because I don’t do much touching up on the go, except for lipsticks or lipglosses. So, my answer to what’s in my makeup pouch is lipsticks and the odd lipgloss!
It does look quite pathetic doesn’t it?
The pouch is just a slim mesh pouch which came from a friend. It is very useful as its slim but can fit lots when the situation warrants it. It is usually bursting with all the different lippies I carry, but I recently trimmed it down to fit into a much slimmer bag I was carrying.
I carry 2 types of lipsticks with me – one lighter colour for the day and one deeper colour for the night (if applicable). The day lipstick is usually my lipstick of the day, which for now, is the Maybelline Water Shine 3D Collagen in 403. A pretty coral shade that is just my lips but so much better! This is because its a lippie I’m really liking for now, and which gives me a nice plumping shine to the lips, yet isn’t a heavy formula.
If you have a dinner or function to attend right after work, the fastest way to change your look is to wipe off your lighter day lipstick and swipe on a darker or brighter colour, depending on which you prefer. In my case, its the Water Shine in Dragonfly Red because I had forgotten to replace it!
The other item in my pouch is a bright orange coloured lip gloss. Honestly, I have no idea what its doing in there because the colour doesn’t go with the other 2 lipsticks I’m carrying! Lol… I do wear it on its own on some days when I’m feeling lazy, because the colour goes on very sheer and just adds a bit of shine and a tiny bit of colour to the lip.
The final item I carry is a lipstick case with a mirror in it. The mirror is essential for quick touch ups and sometimes, I stick a lipstick into the case.
So, there you have it – what I carry in my makeup pouch! Compared to everyone else, it looks like I’m barely carrying anything at all! But my bag is a different matter altogether! 😉 Hope this answers your question Tine. 🙂
Whoa, you don’t even carry powder? You’re so lucky that you don’t have oily skin!
I absolutely need a compact powder for touch ups otherwise I look scary oily by mid day!
I also carry the lippie of the day, a clear gloss and a hair clip. No eye stuff at all as I couldn’t be bothered to touch that up!

You definitely have great looking skin (and as I remember, you don’t have oily skin) so I guess that’s why you don’t bring powder with you! Wow..I love what’s in your pouch! simple! that just meant you are naturally gorgeous girl!

Errr… I don’t carry a make-up pouch with me at all unless I know that I have a function immediately after work. Then, I carry the kitchen sink, much like Tine. Hehe.
My day to day make-up is just lipgloss or the odd darker lipstick. LOL.
Lol. I seldom touch up except for lip gloss and lip balm. but I carry everything with me for times when I need to put on makeup on the go. Like in the car in between lectures. 😀
I carry my shiseido eraser pencil, my witch stick concealer… And aloe vera gel just in case I get scalded or burnt.
Also… A mirror, mini comb, a nail clipper and nail file…
I also have extra pairs of contact lenses and a mini tooth brush and toothpaste… And iron tablets…
Hahaha! My makeup pouch is also a toiletries and medicine bag. Lol!
